The bus-moaner buying buses! What's the world coming to??? Laughing so hard here that I'm choking!
-
Hot off the press, just delivered to the office, Edicola / Salvat G1N0E017 1987 Renault DG290 from CochesdeMetal!
-
Probably not for long, since you've highlighted it!
-
Little parcel arrived from IRM today, twelve odd months bouncing around in aeroplanes but they are here!
-
I think that's how it is in the video.

It has been handy. I know that O Gauge is a bit niche, but they're cheap and reliable. Cheaper and faster for you guys up there than for me, but still good value and service... Speaking of, Nacex just called and will be delivering a parcel later with another O Gauge truck!
-
Exclusively Irish, no. However, they stock DAF's, MAN's, Volvos, Renaults, Mercedes, and the Dodge C38T has been a source of cheap O Gauge trailers - as cheap as / cheaper than buying wheels and building the trailer!

Herpa 1:87 Scania 143 with a Bell 20' and a Bell tanktainer. Not sure how prototypical the tanktainer is but I like the look of it. This didn't arrive in the usual Herpa packaging, just a transparent plastic box with no branding nor info, no model number or anything.

Bumping this in case anybody knows how!

Brookhall Mill - A GNR(I) Micro Layout
DJ Dangerous replied to Patrick Davey's topic in Irish Model Layouts
Congrats, @Patrick Davey and @Tullygrainey! Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and the layout and stock are exhibition grade and beyond! -
Stunning shot, simply sublime. Bond always works under cover of darkness.

Thanks, @derek! We get them every summer, usually arson, but we had no proper winter last year - no snow on Teide, no cold winds from the Atlantic, so the place is drier than usual. Here's a video I took last summer:

Bit of info here: http://www.industrialheritage.eu/2021/European-Year-Rail/ENDANGERED/IE/Narrow-gauge-railway-at-Bere-Island "During World War One Bere Island was a strategic British military base, much of the architecture still remains, including the remains of a narrow gauge railway track, the remains of a turntable and a building which served as an engineers’ workshop with platform at the front of the building. The track ran from this building to a nearby pier. Equipment for the base was landed at the pier and transported by railway to the workshop. The site is currently owned by the Irish Department of Defence. The track is largely intact, just overgrown in place. The building is maintained and used by the Department of Defence."

Received a picture from @murphaph... Little 048 is soon to start winging her way home! Big thanks to @murphaph for saving her, and to IRM for some spares that were needed!

How did you curve it? Hairdryer?

With something like 9,000 hectares on fire and almost 13,000 people in shelters, and the fire reaching the point where it can no longer be extinguished, it seemed poignant to have a look at these two today. Green Godesses from both Oxford and Corgi. The Oxford one is probably better overall but I prefer the look of the valves on the back of the Corgi model.

I'm very fond of the plate girder bridge sides. Think that they look smashing. This kind of thing here:

Love the bridge side!

Please don't say due to structural failure of the bookcases, because I'm cutting massive holes in the sides of mine!
