Nice one, Dave. I'm tempted to pick up one more, to go with my 33 and 3600. I have a weakness when it comes to a DAF.
I, too, was tempted to do so...
1982 DAF 3600 SpaceCab from Road Kings:

Brilliant idea!
Is the colour coding an indicator of the order things are likely to arrive in?
So Bulleids and IR Mk2B/C's next?

Rails of Sheffield have a lot of O Gauge stock on offer the last few months:

I'm not a fan of the 52's nor 58's, but you can't complain about those prices.
A Stroudley coach or three would be nice for anybody on the fence over the half price Terriers.

Might be an idea to run both with bodies removed so you can compare the heat from various components.

I've decided to double the price of these - they're TOO cheap ......
€75 including postage for just one wagon?
Triple the price, @leslie10646, don't just double it!

How about moving Dugort to Malahide, merging it with the Casino railway, and renting out the Dugort room to OTHER suckers looking for storage?
If only you knew somebody involved enough...
Oh, wait...

Nice mix there.
Those 141' will be for sale in a short time on the Ebay / FB etc. Would not worry, I did not order any either.
The eyesight is going with old age, and too much sun, so the O Gauge stuff is a way of compensating.
No chance I'll be touching the new locos for crazy eBay prices, they're even worse!
May pick up one or two from Rails, depending on shipping cost.

So, I had saved up a bunch of money for several of the new Murphy Models 141's / 181's.
At the last minute, when it came time to convert EOI to pre-order, I decided not to go ahead.
I don't like the direction that the pricing is going for Irish locos, and if anybody else has worked for Canarian wages, they'll understand why!
Thus, while slowly greening with envy as the locos approach, and seeing @tonto.irl posting pictures of his advance issue on Facebook, I decided to de-green myself a little and spend some of that hard-earned cash:

Stunning stuff, @leslie10646, can't wait to get my hands on a few!

I see two new fans of these 1:18 trucks lurking!
I don't blame you, @LNERW1 and @Tarabuses, they are out if this world, and having seen some in the flesh, the photos don't do them justice.

See title. There is a huge following for the children's TV show "Thomas and Friends". I am one of the people who make up that following.
Anybody who either doesn't or hasn't like or liked Thomas and Friends has no soul.

Seriously,Tik-Tok? you know me better than that. Anyway, thanks for the glowing reference, Dave.
That was sarcasm, Ray, as apparently now we're saying it every time we do it.
2 hours ago, Noel said:Yes it's not like those wonderful internet posts back in the 1970s when we all had dial up modems!
So, @Noel, now that you have free time to use the forum, how about those numbers, please?
You are adamant that catering is required, and I'd love to see the basic calculations to support that position?
Broad strokes, though, please, as I'm just a lowly cleaner, not a Retired Company Director nor anything so grand.
Am I being unreasonable in asking for more info? I don't think so?

Aye but Joe Lawton’s handy work m was quite iconic on the wagon and added to it…..whereas 90s graffiti…..well if it was done by a well meaning enthusiast trying to cover up the rust with rattle cans….they didn’t do a good job
My point was that the IRM lads obviously have plenty of experience with graffiti...
