The new grilles are a tiny bit off but you're unlikelt to be looking tht closely!
  2. Try WRENNEIRE here on the forum, or Chris Dyer. Both have helped me out, along with many other forum members, with some lovely hard-to-find items at fair prices. Only forum members, though. If you contact them and you're not a forum member, they throw eggs at your windows at night.
  3. Is "silvering" the term for the shine off the carrier film?
  4. Another Chris Dyer / Tony Mirolo re-spray arrived in the post today! Unfortunately they messed up and gave me a second 081, so I'll have to get somebody to re-number it some day. Cost-prohibitive to post it anywhere so it'll be a working holiday for somebody. I know that you can see the carrier film, but that seems to be the way that Chris and Tony work these days. Again, it can be a working holiday for somebody to tidy this up! Short video uploading...
  5. I see some Satlink wagons for sale lately. Nice livery, but I know nothing about the livery, when it ran from and until, what they did, what hauled them etc.
  6. The postage and the duty is the killer. I posted two of my A's to family up in Ireland to sell, but the crazy postage, and An Post fees, are going to make them difficult to sell. Plus, only one has arrived. Aside from that, those two on eBay with sound chips will work out great value for a UK buyer, or an Irish buyer who has a friend with a UK address.
  7. Prior to the Royal Mail IT crisis, I bought something from Hatton's, paid the VAT, and had it shipped to an Irish address. An Post stopped it and charged VAT and handling fees. Hatton's refiunded these fees to me on payment, and sending receipt of said payment to them, and said that they were having problems with An Post not reading the documentation, and subsequently charging fees where inappropriate. As an aside, I posted five parcels a month or two ago, three to Ireland, one to Lithuania and one to the UK. All were correctly declared as gifts, and valued very low. All three Irish parcels were stopped by An Post and had VAT and handling fees applied. The UK parcel did not, and the Lithuania parcel did not. It would appear that An Post are just a shower of bumbling incompetent morons. Even yesterday, somebody tried posting something from an An Post office to me, and the idiot behind the counter refused to attach a CN23. The sender had to return today to get the idiot's supervisor to attach the CN23. The incompetence of An Post knows no bounds. P.S.: Apologies for the typos in my posts, but the sand is playing havoc with my keyboard!
  8. Sorry if I have misunderstood this, but are they all sold out, or are they still available to pre-order? Only one, the test coach twin pack, shows as being sold out here: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/mark-2-coaches-1
  9. What happened? An Post rejected the parcel within 33 minutes of receiving it???
  10. OK, so I set up a third account with you guys, as my current Accurascale.eu account definitely doesn't work for Accurascale.com... And when I got the loco in my basket, ready to pay, I saw the dreaded message... Is that because of the Royal Mail IT issues? Or is it a Canarian thing? Hatton's usually use the "untracked international" option for here, and Royal Mail have not yet resumed that service. Here's hoping.
  11. I've ordered some of these to fiddle around with. Regarding Irish-ish-ness, which suits what? I mean from the current / former RTR stable, the IRM NIR coaches and the probable Intercity and Enterprise ranges.
  12. I'm betting on IRM 071's before the turn of the decade, with a special limited edition 319 Retales variant just for me!
  13. Nice looking 2700 for €200. Includes DCC chip. Graham's Resprays seem to have been good. The lining in particular on this one is well done. There was a botched looking one for €300 a few weeks back. https://touch.adverts.ie/models/irish-model-railway-iarnrod-eireann-2700-dmu/29286004
  14. Few interesting bits on eBay. IRM A Class A46 with sound, current bid €175 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/385396869152 IRM A Class 056 with sound, current bid €140 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/385396878718 I assume they're the two mentioned by @Fowler4f. Very cheap for sound-fitted A's! Silver Fox A Class 023, €110 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/295515935174 Murphy Models 201 Class 8208, €300 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/204220574208 (Described as a "reluctant runner" on testing) IRM Tara Mines wagons, €80 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/266023236636 Seller used to be a bit of a gouger but that's a great price for some Taras.
  15. Nothing concrete but expect an IRM steam announcement soon. Wouldn't be surprised by a bus announcement this month, and a Bubble re-run announcement in the coming months. Boskonay said something last autumn about having several new "ranges" coming, which is super scary.
  16. Royal Mail International Bulletin: https://www.royalmail.com/international-incident-bulletin Says that they have re-started a lot of their services but not all.
  17. Sorry, one more question. Is an Accurascale.eu account invalid for Accurascale.com? Tried logging in using my Accurascale.eu account but it says that it doesn't exist. I know that my Accurascale account is distinct from my IRM account, that's not the issue, it's just to find out if I need two seperate Accurascale accounts.
