  9. Hi Sven, Welcome to the forum. We are still at the planning stage and welcome your experienced opinion. At this stage we need to meet with everyone interested progressing this further to put a plan in place and move this forward. Can everyone interested in this and that wants to contribute let me know so we can arrange a meeting.

  15. Hi Richrua, import the pictures to your pc then edit them and post them up from your pc.
  16. That's an insulfrog point, just use the standard rail joiners for those. You will have to either solder cable to the points to provide power to each side of the point because as standard when it is switched one way the other side is dead. Or use the hornby dcc clips and fit them between the blades of the points, soldering is a better way to go, as dust and dirt will build up between the clips and point blades reducing conductivity. Switching the point motors with dcc can be a pain if you are using quite a few as each point needs an address in your controller then you need to reember which is which. An analogue switch panel would be better and cheaper. Hornby also do the e-link controller which can be used for switching points.

  23. How did you make the groove for the wheel flanges in the grout, cut them with a dremel after it went off?
  24. I have to say the 141 is my favourite, its slow running ability is amazing.
  25. Looks great Stephen, I would leave the hard standing as is. I love the rough edges and the way the ballast is heaped around the buffer stop. Plenty of weeds and some puddles would finish it off nicely.
