Paddy Pic of a kit built 071, Model Irish Railways body on an Athern chassis Modern numbering and no front handrail as per the original Not mine but I can put you in touch with the seller Lovely paint job also
-
Hi Paddy Welcome to the forum I reckon you will need to sell your firstborn to get any of the 071's on your list Haven't seen one for sale anywhere for less than €350 and some are making a lot more than that Long sold out from the major retailers and this has made them very expensive when available I would recommend either a few Hail Marys or a Credit Union loan!

A small detail overlooked by our rivet counting friends Every detail that is added or subtracted from the original signed off mould incurs a cost and in order to keep the great unwashed happy these costs would make the alterations uneconomical, and like it or not the aim of splashing out €100k+ is to see some sort of return So maybe ring Paddy, tell him you will pony up for your alterations and sit back and wait, maybe get an extra €50k on the mortgage while you are waiting And then wait for the criticism, see how you like it Think before you type!

You better watch out You better not cry You better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town
-
Simple solution people, buy your stuff at home, if the major retailers dont have it post on the for sale thread and see if you have any luck, or come to Bray Wheelers

We are having photos of Ballyglunin printed onto adhesive backing paper for our new "Castletown" layout One of our members has organised it , he previously did one for our O Gauge end to end layout , the name of which eludes me at the moment They are excellent and I could not recommend them highly enough

The joys of the Internet Spent some time trawling through some weird and wonderful, and some not so wonderful, websites thanks to Covid One was one that I had bought some bits off long ago and I said I would give it a go. I put in BexleyModels.Com instead of .co.uk , Jesus Mary and Joseph got the shock of my life, I didnt know men could be that well endowed! Visited another obscure Italian site and low and behold look what turned up. I have one in a freight set but I had never seen a single boxed example before The famous Sundries wagon in N gauge So it fits nicely into the 32 04XX range Ramseys have it catalogued under Long Wheelbase Refrigerator Van but with no Catalogue number Happy Christmas me!
