  1. Paddy's stuff is usually limited run as the market is so small. Once they're gone they're gone.
  2. I'll be interested in seeing it too. Very effective!
  3. they are a beauty Shem, been tempted by one myself.
  4. Yep it's nice but it's HO all the way for me!
  5. Just got my hands on the July edition of British Railway Modelling and there's a nice 'how to' feature on weathering a couple of 071s by Nigel Burkin. Nice step by step feature on how to have a go yourself. Great inspiration for anyone wanting to take the plunge themselves.
  6. A tenner in the pocket and no week long wait. Hard to argue with that
  7. Someone on RMWeb took a stab at it. I'm with you on the finish http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/57282-3d-printed-models-glr-3d-model-design/
  8. Was thinking similar myself. There's a shapeways body for the JT class available too. Wonder if the Bachmann tank would be suitable as a chassis donor? Think'd I'd have a bash sorting the cab out instead to guarantee a nicer finish.
  9. Cheers man, but I'm after proto specifically. Nicer and the athearn bodies are prototypically too wide.
  10. Agreed, the Lima models don't have the distinctive interior. Sell the exec coaches and for the price you'd nearly get enough for a whole BR Mark 3 rake to convert, including your Exec coach.
  11. First person to describe as such Shem!
  12. Just think of the whopper layout and stock you will be able to afford should you do well in exams and get good jobs lads. Might even know someone who could get you into IE and live the dream and get paid for doing so!
  13. Well as it's balderdash there's no need for any more chat on the matter!
  14. Thought as much.
  15. I have a feeling that the michael is being taken.... Mind you the CAF coaches are only fit for the bin as it is.
  16. +1. So glad mine are in the dim and distant past, but the work will be worth it folks!
  17. I'm after two Kirley, sourced one from Colin so if you do come across one I'll take it off your hands.
  18. I was hoping the cheeky smiley would convey the sarcasm K. Mind you, I still don't rate the Silver Fox A personally.
  19. Nearly as bad as the silver fox version
  20. Shades of an 071 when it comes to sound...
  21. Colas now have some Class 60s heading their way and some 37s too

    MK3 Scrapping

Some ICRs have been fitted with signalling equipment needed to run up North I believe.
