  1. Ah jaysus you must've had a few on you when you put this up in the wrong part of the site! Duly moved
  2. I'd rather people willing to make stuff go for different subjects rather than duplication...
  3. I forgot about state pensions...
  4. If you guys aren't into a bit of DIY you can always send them to Laois, Cork or Newry to let the kit experts do them for you. I can't see a RTR version of Irish wagons any time soon unless one of us has a big lotto win.
  5. Nice one, looking forward to seeing it progress!
  6. Surely if you're not into any of that then you wouldn't be called a 'modeller'?
  7. Well, only a matter of time before someone double headed
  8. Can confirm that they're just painted.
  9. Slightly, she looks worst of all in the Black and Tan, the one livery I would want one of these in. I think I'll be ordering from Des if I ever decided that I want one of these.
  10. Great pics yourself. I really hope so, the current scene is as dull as ditchwater without these workings from an enthusiasts point of view. Let's hope we see more freight flows soon!
  11. You should see wrenneire's house....
  12. There's always a way around these things!
  13. Watched a bit on the iplayer. I concur with George!
  14. Nice cameo. Thought Mark would've been there, camera in hand? Missed a trick there!
  15. My OCD levels dictate that trains must be run with others of a matching era pulling stock specific to that era and region. However, since there's so much I like the scenery can be as generic as possible!
  16. This is what I get for sticking to BR only! Mind you I won't be able to explain that P2 when it shows up considering they were rebuilt before Nationalisation...
  17. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Irish-CIE-Sulzer-B103-diesel-loco-pro-build-/201049364057?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2ecf79d659
  18. Looks like mine isn't due till May now
  19. I suppose I better do a video so!
  20. Mine will be heading to Laois to be put through her paces as you can imagine! [video=youtube;qZ-LXwkZa4o]
  21. And here. BR lightly weathered. Due this month according to hattons
  22. Considering the tooling is nigh on 50 years old lets hope it doesn't wear out any time soon!
  23. Cheers Dave. Considering that the Hymeks looked like nothing we ever had and that there were no pressure vent Mark IIs on the Irish system at that time I'm not surprised. They'd have been better off doing the set in NIR!
  24. Were the hornby stuff commissioned like the Lima stuff Dave or was it Hornby themselves wanting to cater for us lot?
  25. No problem Brian, I always find the research to be a lot of fun. There's some great photos on the likes of flickr too to use as a reference point for any model you're working on. Stumbled across a couple of fantastic photos of Hush Hush last night in original form. Now there's a loco I'd love a model of. Have the P2 on order too mind as she's just too pretty to be without and a Hattons Garratt should be in here way to me soon.
