It's still a HO model based on an American version.
If you want a proper OO version there is always Britannia Pacific Models. Pricey mind! http://www.britanniapacific.co.uk/TAMPER.htm
Nice one Dave. The picture of the tanker on the box is the Hornby TTA tanker which would be longer than the container wagon and I reckon it wouldn't fit into that space. Maybe a change at the factory at the last minute or there is a different variation of the set out there? Hornby did have variations of wagons in the set compared to box art on their British sets...
I'm sorry, but I bet I'd have come up with something a lot better than this for a lot less money!

I actually thought it was a piss take!
Mr. Poots has done kits of the D's (standard and Van Hool I believe) but I think they're long sold out. It would be worth giving him a shout or looking on EBay.
he first thing I did after I got home from Warley a few years ago was shower myself twice after coming into contact with some swamp creatures. The bang off them was unbelievable.
You need a full length one as 1) it's the correct scale length and 2) the parts of the kit will only fit a full length one.
Lima and Jouef also make full length Mark IIIs that can be used.
I have put this out on a topic all on its own as it was starting to take over another topic.
