Not rate their 71 Ed? I admit the moulded side window is a bit of a pisser (same on the Sulzer btw that I saw in the flesh yesterday) but I'm going to drill that out and use some Terry Chocolate orange box magic. Looks passable to me, although there's a good bit of detail lacking in the bogie dept I will admit. Looks like a 71 to me at least.

The do Rich, have a 71 waiting to be made and it really looks well. A bit different when it comes to the Irish side of things locowise.

Spectrum is their premium (though not always premium in reality) HO range, this and their tamper are American models in HO sold as OO in their British range.

I think the SSM would be a better starting point. Both would need a hell of a lot of work though! Q kits still reigns supreme I guess!

Ah yes, well spotted! The tanker has the same chassis as the insulated container van, so if that fits in that slot then so would the tanker!

Nice one Dave. The picture of the tanker on the box is the Hornby TTA tanker which would be longer than the container wagon and I reckon it wouldn't fit into that space. Maybe a change at the factory at the last minute or there is a different variation of the set out there? Hornby did have variations of wagons in the set compared to box art on their British sets...
