The figures for here over the past year have doubled when it comes to postings etc (which was posted on another thread today) so I think you're right in that sense. Although I dont really model Irish my interests tend to be in the past for the most part too. However, there were people bemoaning the loss of steam once and thought the hobby would die with the introduction of diesels. That hasnt happened. They might not be your bag (and to be honest, not mine either) but I bet there are a few out there that would be into railcars currently on Irish rails. And as people grow up around them they will be sad to see them leave the rails one day too.

It's common cortuesy to phrase a question/request correctly. It can come across ignorant or rude otherwise. A properly formed sentence isnt too much to ask for, is it?

Haven't had any problems with private messages myself recently and we haven't had any reports of others having problems in a while. If someone is having problems with them they can just let us know and we'll look into it further for them

The rolling stock looks better than the locos. Were they HDI made too?

I think StevieB sums it up well. I'm sure Gerard will contact interested parties when he is settled. If that doesn't suit interested parties then they can always look elsewhere if time constraints are an issue. Let's leave it there.

Have to say it did look really well on the move. Lovely bit of Autumn weather for it too. Really hope it works out for the RPSI and becomes a good money spinner for them.

If you can afford it pick up one of the newer Athearn Ready ro Roll SW1500s, they have canon motors and as a result they run superbly.
