  1. You never know what’s on our list, George!
  2. They’re all I’ve got!
  3. Always a pleasure to see you Noel (and the other forum members at the show, it was like a local one I recognized so many faces!) hope you had a nice evening with your good lady! re the video; “they’re thin on the ice”?? My god! I’ve spent my working life throwing others in front of cameras, from sporting stars to politicians. Was a long time since I did it myself but it was good to do, even if I have a face more suited to radio Warley, as always, was an interesting experience and I would recommend it to anyone to do it at least once. There really is something for everyone. Patrick and I spent a lot of the show in work mode, but we did get to see a few layouts and exhibits too this afternoon before the flight home.
  4. Cheers Seamus. I think Patrick was referring to 461...
  5. Absolutely stunning Popeye, no other words for it. Well done!
  6. Exactly. Everyone and their mother knows it’s Sambo.
  7. They won’t be, Steve just wants you to buy several!
  8. Due to the volume of distribution we are doing to Ireland and the UK, we can now offer FREE SHIPPING to the island of Ireland for all orders over €150 and free shipping to Great Britain for all orders over €200! Another reason the take the plunge and order some ballast wagons or cement bubbles (or both!)
  9. Now I know what Santa’s elves feel like. So many bubbles to wrap...

Enjoy it.  A new business will be hard work, but engaging, rewarding, enjoyable and exciting at times. 10 years down the road you'll look back at the intensity of these early 'startup' days with fond memories.

  10. I’ve seen Eoin’s creations in the flesh. They look excellent!
  11. Pack B of the ballast wagon is now sold out at IRM Towers. Thanks for all the orders! I know it’s cement bubble fever at the moment, but we are down to the bare bones of packs A and C of the ballast hoppers. So if you’re on the fence, it might be time to take the plunge before it’s too late. www.irishrailwaymodels.com/shop Sales from them go to fund one of three (possibly four) exciting all new projects next year...
  12. Marks sold out of their pack A allocation in a day or two I believe. They will be getting B, C and D very soon though
  13. The bubbles have landed and the first shipments are on their way! The balance of our ivory bubble order has arrived from China! We have been working hard all day doing QC checks and we've even managed to get some orders packed and sent out this evening! We will be doing the same over the next few days. It should take about a week to check all orders and ship them to you. Thank you everyone for your support and patience as always. We hope you enjoy the definitive model of the iconic cement bubble! We still have bubbles in stock but with just over 70% of the run sold out already they wont hang around for long! Order yours today on our website
  14. Cracking pics Finbarr. I'm going to miss the 125s when they go, but at least some are migrating to Scotland to live on for another few years yet! Like the MTU noise too but you couldn't beat the Paxmans...
  15. Hi everyone, We have two of the pack B ballast wagons left in stock. Just a heads up! Thanks for all your orders! Fran www.irishrailwaymodels.com/shop
  16. I have to say I like the 80 in Enterprise...
  17. At least it shows all the detail under the tank that Richie went to get lengths replicating!
  18. Beats by Broithe?
  19. Bubbles leaving on a jet plane! We are delighted to announce that the remaining pack A and B, along with all our C and D packs of bubbles left our factory in China today and will be flown to Irish shores. They are due to be with us next Friday when inspection and dispatch will begin!
  20. Find Flickr great and easy to use personally.
  21. We will be at Stillorgan this Sunday with ballast wagons as well as some pack B cement bubbles for sale. Drop by and say hi!
  22. Yes, long stalled, but am awaiting a much improved chassis from Jeremy which I asked about when I saw him at Blackrock so once I secure that I’ll be on the home stretch
  23. A few more pictures of Richie’s filthy bubble. Tis a stunner!
  24. Another exciting day in IRM Towers as we received the baseboards for our test track from Model Rail Baseboards. Dave has done a lovely job on it too!
  25. Glad you got sorted Railer. The other bubbles aren't that far behind the Irish Cement ones in selling out. We've been blown away by demand! The rest of the bubbles leave the factory this coming Friday, so lots of packing and shipping to come for us over the next few weeks. After the factory ship on Friday, they're straight into production of the orange bubbles
