It was a joy to photograph your layout and locos Gerry,and It only inspires me to get a proper layout going for myself. As has been said the layouts shown by the guys here are Stunning and even people who are new to site are showing some great skill. I am greatful to Gerry and Anthony for all the help and advice that they give.Gerrys help in DCC is very much needed in my world as I don't really have a clue,while Anthonys help in paint and in general modeling is superb-my adventure into mk3 EGV Building was helped by Anthony big time.

As promised,I poped down to Gerrys Ballybeg last night and got a few shots of His nice collection of 121s.All are MIR resin kits on the newer Athearn SW1500 chassis,and are hand painted.

The main spring again?or a loose wire in the main core?. Perhaps a tackeoin pulse through the main deflector might help.

Hi Robert,well the only coach that I can help you with is the mk3 EGV.Studio scale models do the brass overlays for this conversion which include the numbers and roof Detail.The donor coach in normally the BR mk3 sleeper coach but I used a spare Hornby diner.All the rest of my mk3 stock are repaints from Seamus Graham which are nice job.Lima Murphy mk3 make up the rest of the stock. I hope this is some help,and I am sure you will get more advice from the lads on the other coaches.You can view my EGV on page one of enniscorthymans workbench.I posted up on YouTube a video of a friends EGV with a sound chip and lights.

Yes I remember that photo,but it was not good quality, so I hope that next week Ill be down to Gerry and get better shots of his 121s.

Thanks Shem,but no sound chip as there is no room what so ever for a speaker and chip.This loco was hand painted by me with MIR 201 orange.Close up the paint job is not great but I am happy enough with it.I know you have a soft spot for the 121s.

Worth looking for is the june 2011 IRRS journal with a good feature by Brian Solomon on the 121 class with a nice photo of 125 running bonnet first in black and tan livery near Booterstown.
