  1. Have you heard of "The dark side side of the moog" by Pete Namlook and Klaus Schulze.About 11 or 12 CDs were made with a Ambient-electro-Dark Ambient take on "Dark side of the moon. You can hear some of the albums on YouTube.I love them but might not be everyone's cup of tea. I must get my hands on "The Wall" and "The Final cut".
  2. That is a nice station scene with lights.
  3. Played Pink Floyd Wish you were here today, and what a album.I had not heard it for years. I also love the album Ultravox brought out last year, the first since 1986,and a great album it is too,its called" Brillient".
  4. I Jane got a few bits from Rails, and normally takes around a week give or take.I do know that Royal Mail has its own parcel courier for Rep of Ireland normally for large parcels, but god help you if you live in the back of beyond-I have heard that they return parcels back to UK-unable to locate, without even trying.
  5. Stunning work there Kirley, and you will have to put loads of women running after the post van screaming Sexy postman.lol
  6. Thanks for that Broithe.I must try google earth later and see what's there.
  7. Anyone know where that clip is at the start of the program showing the steam freight train melting away and then showing abandoned line-and really nice music to match.
  8. She was the first GM to be scrapped. There was fire damage around the fuel tank and mid section. She was at the back of Inchicore works for a few years, grounded with no bogies and stripped of all useable parts.Very sad sight to see,and at one stage IE were going to rebuild this loco and a number of locos such as 161,132,174,126,and the long stored 125 and return to service, but the large influx of railcars put paid to that.actually 121 herself was also one of these locos as she was damaged on the weed killer train fire in New Ross in 1995.
  9. I think I am Shem, been watching sd40s on YouTube and would love one or two in time.
  10. Superb. When I get funds,I will get advice from you on where to get these.
  11. God I do need to pay attention, and how did I miss that before?.Doh.
  12. I have ment to ask what was that thingmagig on the headlight Of the 141/181s mostly in CIE livery. It looked like a curved pipe and I had often seen them on the Rosslare line mostly in the 70s and 80s.
  13. That SD70 is a beut Fran:x,although I would be more of a SD40-2 man myself.
  14. That indeed sounds good. I do see where Anthony is coming from with the problems outlined, and had a chat today with him. I do value his opinion and his good advice, but did mention his words were too strong on my workbench thread, and could cause offence. Anyway I hope things work out well for this kit.
  15. Have you had a look at http://www.irishfreightmodels.com as they have cement bubbles and indeed the two variants of cement wagons to buy.It might be hard to find MIR kits and if you do they could be expensive.
  16. I was out in the man shed tonight and did a bit of work on the windows.
  17. I love the tunnel and scenery so far, well done.
  18. Brill photos David, thanks for posting.
  19. Yes I think you are right Shem. I thought I saw you in the crowd at the 1970 Kraftwerk gig.lol
  20. As I have a love of electro music,I love the reaction of the folks in the crowd who show utter bewilderment at live and historic firsts, suck as Kraftwerks live Gig in 1970 and The legendary original line up of the Art of Noise playing live in 1984,and finaly OMD doing ABC-auto industry on the tube.
