  1. All this will be on show at the Wexford Model railway clubs Easter show. The class 24 sound chip is even better than what you can hear in the video.
  2. That looks brilliant, and what sort of chip did you use?.
  3. I got to see Gerrys SSM B101 tonight and get a video and a few photos to post up.The loco has a class 24 sound chip on board so enjoy-
  4. The A and C class detail kit is fab I have say. And I got your 101 brass grills today as well, well done.I hope to get back to building my own machine soon.
  5. Well done on the weathering, and welcome to the site.
  6. You should be very proud of your layout Bud-simply fantastic.
  7. Had a listen last night to Kate Bush "The Kick inside",and wonderful is all I can say,and my fav-"The man with a child in his eyes".I suppose Kate Bush voice you either like or hate, a bit like Lana Del Ray.
  8. I wonder would the IMF bail me out for some funds. I feel all warm and fuzzy at the thought of the IR and IE 071s in my paws.
  9. I love the oil streaks especially on the a class.
  10. Great Des,when my current lamps run out I will get a few from you.
  11. Give me a PM and let me know when you are in the area.
  12. Nice photo of the sulzer. There are a few photos of the A class Under construction at the Manchester works, one in a IRRS journal the other in the ITG journal showing a crossly engine being put into a A class,I presume around 1955.
  13. I feel all warm and fuzzy looking at this video.Branch line workings at their best.
  14. I love this-magical stuff on this line.
  15. These are the lamps-
  16. Thanks Patrick, kits were very handy both to build and paint.
  17. God you are right,a fair list.let me check the lamps and I will post up photo of them in their packaging.
  18. The tail lamps are not powered, and I got them On e bay from spring side models. The wagons came in kit form with chassis and I had to build and hand paint them. They are not normally sold as kits so I am Glad to be allowed to get them. They have a lot more detail than the MIR kits.I have to thank Anthony for the dirty 156 and where to get the tail lamps.
  19. Yes I love the rake too, especially after watching a video on YouTube of a cement with a baby GM on the Limerick Ballybrophy line.
  20. I just finished my Cement wagons and I am delighted with them. Fair play to Irish freight models for superb wagons. I have always wanted a few of these wagons as I remember them passing and unloading in Enniscorthy Station over the years.
  21. Beautiful job,I love it.
  22. Yes you can convert your Lima a class to DCC by wiring in a 8 pin harness, but to be honest Lima motors don't run very well with DCC as slow speed running is very poor. Before you run into DCC do try to meet up with someone and ask questions as It can be off putting with all the lingo.I am no expert, but have had plenty of friends to help with advice.
  23. It is worth your while, but it is expensive, especially if you go down the sound route.Best thing is to go to a show and ask people for advice.Weford show at Easter is one stop,or if you could arrange to meet anyone on this site who lives near you and has DCC.
