  6. Welcome to the sute derailed and yes its your magical photo.Nice collection of photos on Boards.IE.
  7. I know, but dont ask me to recreate Enniscorthy Station.LOL
  8. Now if you want a dirty 071 to weather how about this-
  9. I am nearly sure this is Joe at Ballinacourty Loop in the mid 1980s getting a shot of the weedkiller train. He also got a wonderfull photo of EM50 at Kilmackthomas on the last ever movement on the line in May 1990,and the photo is in a IRRS journal either June or October that year.RIP.
  10. Yes H and S would have a field day if the label was left on,mind you scenic cement in the eyes would be nasty enough.I would say brushing your teeth with deep heat brought tears to your eyes. The worst thing I done recently was Diesel in my petrol car-a very expensive mistake.
  11. I did a bit more work on this section today with ballasting and painting. I used woodlands earth and green undercoat for scenic areas. I used this old optrex bottle to place the scenic cement which had a drop of washing up liquid to help it flow better. This proved very handy for placing the cement on the ballast. I glued in SSM ground disc signal at the crossover near the LC. Not sure if it is the right place but it looks good to me.
  12. Great photos there lads and the model looks great.
  13. Nice photo there Wexfordloco and welcome to the site, and great to see more yellow bellies on here.
  14. Now thats an idea.
  15. Got some ballasting and scenery work done yesterday, along with track and wiring sorting.Had a few test trains in action which is nice to see at last.
  16. Now thats a blast from the past. That button machine sounds good, imagine all the train stuff you could get.
  17. She looks great and my fav livery to boot.
  18. Thanks Guys. Will post more photos in a few days.
  19. Very sad to hear that,RIP Joe.Met him at Enniscorthy Station in May for the steam special to Wexford .His work is legendary and a historical.
  20. Yes I surely will and I will have a39 in action with sound so if any one is in Wexford on Sunday 30th,come along to the Caimvintage day.Caim is a small village outside Enniscorthy near Killane and Rathnure and is near the main road to Kilkenny. All proceeds go to local hospice home care.
  21. This is a first look at my display layout that I have built for a local vintage day on Sunday 30th September.Still a lot of work to do and some scenery wont be finished in time. The layout is built into six sections with the main one built by Gerry Byrne for his Ballybeg layout which was unused and kindly given to me to build onto for the vintage day.The plan is to use the two front units for the attic layout when I get back to building it in a few weeks. I have used 4 seep point motors controlled by gaugemaster acc decoder and I have one spare from the right unit if I need to control lights etc in the future.
  22. Very impressive selection of points there, looks great. How does your diamond crossing work as regards wheels etc, any derailment problems?.
  23. Lovely Hurling there Des.
  24. Fantastic Bredan, fair play to you.
