  1. I have seen photos of the rear part of Palace East Station. They were in journals of IRRS.It would be worth your while contaction them.just Google Irish Railway Record Society.
  2. The chassis on the silver fox seems to be a cut away centre section from a mk 3 coach which is glued onto a plati card base section.Part of the under mk3 section is cut away to allow the under floor engine parts that provide coach lighting etc.I hope this makes some sort of sense.I will try to get a photo.
  3. Hi Drew. I have the Silver Fox MK3 PP driving trailer. The chassis seems to be a modified selection of plasticard with the middle underfloor section of a mk3 coach cut out and glued on,and also a section for the under floor aux engine that ran on these. I will try to post a photo later.
  4. Wow is all I can say.The Ferts certainly turned up everywhere both North and South.
  5. I stuck on two rear lamps on one IRM Tara.I think they look nice.
  6. Very nice. Detail looks fab.
  7. Inspection car 711 appeared at Bog Road LC today, followed by 086 for clearance trials.
  8. A few photos taken at the Wexford show of my new layout.Everything ran well, and thanks to everyone for the nice comments.
  9. Bog Road Level Crossing was the last LC before Youghal,on the Cobh Junction-Youghal line. This layout will be on show at the Wexford Model Railway clubs Easter show this Weekend. The layout is based on the photo in the background, taken in summer of 1978,just before the regular goods trains ceased.I plan to run sound chipped A and C class as well as a 141.Thanks to Richard Wall for the photo.
  10. Super news.I may buy another money tree for the back garden. I bet the 121 is a lot more akward to get correct with the difference in lights ,Windows etc.
  11. I don't know about books, but a double DVD I think called, "To good to be forgotten,West Cork Railway".Superb footage of the area you mention.I will look it up.

Got mine today. A very happy camper.
  16. Be very very carefully with the marker lights.I broke two of the clear tubes that fit into the holes behind the marker lights, and they are very fragile. The black tape around the lighting pcb has to block out any light bleed. When changing the cabs, you can undo the roof mounted pcb for the cab lighting and fit into new cab.
  17. I did indeed,Noel.I got 161sa body as well to change over onto 156.
