  1. Happy Christmas to all here, from Bog Road Level Crossing.
  2. It was a special run to Rosslare having run to Arklow with passengers.
  3. I got my copy a few weeks ago and I cant recommend it enough.Superp photos and my favourite a ballast train leaving Enniscorthy Station in 1998.
  4. It's doing very well from what I hear. The season is is closed since October till April I think. There is a dedicated site on Facebook, and a recent IRRS journal did a feature on it as well.
  5. You can get SMD self flashing blue or any colour on e bay.You will need to source micro battery holder and micro on/off switch, all on e bay.I will look up photos for you when I get a chance.
  6. Like these. 20191116_121656.mp4
  7. The 071 class body can be opened by turning the loco upside down and locate I think its either 4 or 2 holes under each bogie which have screws to be undone. When these screws are removed turn the loco back up and the centre of the body lifts up leaving the cabs where they are.
  8. I am stuck for space myself. This layout resides in the Attic.
  9. I love those beet wagons, and I got a 10 ton CIE brake van from your stall on Monday.
  10. The Beet season is in full swing with 075 in charge of emptys. 20191030_162546.mp4
  11. More work on the Brake van. The most tricky part I found was the brake blocks, but thankfully some pre drilled holes certainly helps.
  12. I purchased one of Leslie's nice Brake Van's at BlackRrock,so just getting ready for the build.
  13. Many thanks to Fran for bringing the superb sample A class and 42 flat plus the Fertalizer wagon to the club last night.Mind you the Deltic was looking very tasty as well.I was very impressed by all,and ordered two A class-017 and 027.Cant wait to get my hands on them. 20191022_190607.mp4
  14. I will be down to order 2xA class.Cant wait to see the model.
  15. The ferts will look superb with the new A class.
  16. I hope I posted this in the right place.I spotted this new book on Book Depository by well know railway photographer Colm O Callaghan.Book is due in November.
  17. Excellent.A bit more saving for me to do.
  18. I am sure the lads at IRM are getting plenty of hints on what to produce in the future.Certainly the A class is a superb choice for IRM to do its first Irish loco.I often wonder are the C201 and B101 class locos a little forgotten when it comes to modeling.
  19. Just finished work on two MIR beer wagons which are running well now.The chassis on one was a bit out of alignment, which I suppose is to be expected on a white metal kit.
  20. Silver fox MK 3 driving trailer.I have a temporary battery to the headlight, until I get time to fit a decoder.Hope the photos help.
  21. I have seen photos of the rear part of Palace East Station. They were in journals of IRRS.It would be worth your while contaction them.just Google Irish Railway Record Society.
  22. The chassis on the silver fox seems to be a cut away centre section from a mk 3 coach which is glued onto a plati card base section.Part of the under mk3 section is cut away to allow the under floor engine parts that provide coach lighting etc.I hope this makes some sort of sense.I will try to get a photo.
