Thanks Paul for sharing the fantastic photos of the 121s, Well done to Paddy Murphy for his perseverance and patience with the 121 project-it has taken a long time to get to this stage-(through no fault of Paddy)-but thankfully there are headlights at the end of the tunnel now and I am really looking forward to the release of these models-and the 001s in due course Now back to Tara junction for a site survey to make space for the 121s and 001s.....

As evening time descends on the locomotive stabling point at Tara junction-the floodlights come on to light up the area, as are the red lights on the rear of the locomotives, I wonder will the locomotive fleet controller allow 088 work the oil tank transfer ? 156+183 work a pallet cement train past the locomotive stabling point.

New machinery has arrived at the permanent way sidings-but a bit later than expected as the compound has been closed for the night, the lads will have to find a bed for the night and come back tomorrow morning for the opening time 08:00.....

Bank holiday Sunday sees little activity at the freight yard sidings with 156+183 coupled to a pallet cement train while 080 works light engine to the MPD, Over at the locomotive shed a variety of locos in various livery's can be seen,inside the shed are 161 and 080, while outside are 143,152,185,001,192+160 234 is seen at the rear of the Mk3 push/pull set providing a shuttle service to and from Connolly station with control car 6101 leading.

Fantastic looking wagon gents-any chance of placing a 20' tank in the centre of the wagon just for comparison please? Or two tanks to replicate the empty tank return working-for present day modelling? See attached photos.

A selection of photos of the stores oil tanker transfer to the West end stabling point on Tara junction complete with 23674 CIE brake van professionally built by hidden-agenda.... 161 arrives at the signal and awaits clearance to the up mainline before propelling the wagons to the oil road siding for discharging to commence. Over at the new wheel lathe CIE 071 class locomotive 088 gets its wheels turned....

Has been used on the Belmond Grand Hibernian Mk3 set too on occasion between the gen van and 216.

Two are used for transporting the Donelli relaying gantries-and are fitted for both air and vacuum duel brake working-now there is a challenge for you Richie...hint hint..no pressure....

With the ever increasing locomotive fleet and the forthcoming models of the 121 and 001 class locomotives the new wheel lathe was installed over the weekend at the MPD on Tara junction, Here we see locomotive 0117072 become the first locomotive to use the facility, The CME observes proceedings as they prepare to move 072 onto the lathe, Here are a few photos of the operation.

With thanks to GSI345 for commissioning another fantastic CIE model, Here we see the two new arrivals being welcomed by the depot supervisor and staff of the Tara junction bus garage, After being given a once over by the fitters they were soon put to use by the fleet controller....
