  1. A lunchtime arrival at Ashburton Grove's up loop, Class 20-20 063 arrives with a trip working consisting of four oil tanks for use at the factory sidings, after running round the tanks it will propel them to the discharging point.
  2. I was fortunate to be able to acquire a small sample of the deep blue paint that is applied to the real 216,and with thanks to Des at SSM for the transfers, my 216 is now finished, it is seen here propelling a Mk4 set out of the platform at Tara junction station this morning.
  3. Definatly count me in on that one Des-but without the loco transfers as you have already kindly supplied those to me.
  4. Hi Noel-The Mk4 set are repainted Hornby Mk4s,they are the closest type of coach to the prototype.
  5. New arrivals at Ashburton Grove are two class 20 locomotives, two TPO's and two typical West Yorkshire 1980s single and double deck buses.

  7. Thanks Sulzar-the oil tankers are from the Heljan range and were professionally weathered by TMC-(The model centre), I picked them up at the Glasgow exhibition last weekend.
  8. Some Sperry train action from Tara junction earlier-071 is in charge while 216 propels a Mk4 set away from the platform, I have installed some of the excellent Train Tech colour light signals complete with directional feather-see the signal in action just ahead of 071.

  13. Hi Geoff, You would probably need some of the Hornby Mk4 coaches-they would be the closest ready to run models available, The control car would have to be scratch built-or like my Enterprise set, you could get D+M models to build one for you.
  14. Hi Fran, each car-the DC1 and DC2 are 20.26 meters.
  15. Belmond liveried locomotive 216 propels the evening up Cork Mk4 set on the up fast line through Tara jctn station, On platform 2 2607+2608 pick up passengers and will follow 216, 071 has charge of the empty HOBS train returning to the ballast loading point after some night time work.

Thanks Geoff, I cant see the photo that you like, I'll post another video over the next few days I've been track cleaning as I had a few people visit the layout recently and I have been operating some driver training runs for them, which was very enjoyable. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of Irish rail,the management at Tara junction operated the Executive train for invited guests, 080 is seen here arriving at the platform with the train, 143 operates light engine on the up fast line and 183+156 have charge of a freightliner train and 001 is departing the branch platform with two park royal and one Cravens coaches and BR van.
