  1. Supertrain Sunday sees 087 pass 084 with a down express, 152 is the carriage pilot loco, Over on the left 085 has charge of the pallet cement liner and 181+166 wait with the ammonia in the loop to allow an up Mk3 passenger overtake. Transfers are from the Railtec range.
  2. A busy Sunday afternoon with various types of buses coming and going while a Mk2 Supertrain speeds underneath...
  3. Afternoon lads...Sunday engineering works on Tara junction sees a top n tailed HOBS train with 078 leading and 082 trailing while on the opposite line tamper 751 does a bit of badly needed tamping.

  6. 071 hauls failed tamper 751 through the junction en route to Kildare plant shop for repairs....
  7. For all those special occasions why not use the IE Executive train.....
  8. Another view sees Mk2 EGV 5602,push pull control car 6104, and GSVs 3164 and 3189 receive attention-along with locos 085 and 124.
  9. Thanks lads, Another location that's hasn't been photographed often is the works area, Seen here is GSV 3177 about to undergo a boiler change and some minor bodywork patching up.

Hi Geoff, Yes I'm slowly gathering together all the various bits and pieces for this new layout, I've decided to name it The Claremorris to Athenry junction railway and it will be based on both stations-with possibly Tuam station at one end and a MPD at the other-I have approximately 14'x12' space to work with, I intend to start work in early March....

Thanks Andy and Jhb, My Mk2 Supertrain coaches got a run this evening behind 087 I'm happy with the set of six,although having been inspired by Glendergs excellent weathering technique I will in time do a similar effect on these coaches-as they could do with some grime etc An aerial view of the junction with 087 hauling the new Murphy models Mk2 set, 084 passes on the down line with my Lima set of Supertrain Mk2 liveried coaches.

  17. Under the watchful eye of the carriage depot supervisor, carriage pilot locomotive 156 has been joined by 152 to shunt/swap around coaches in preparation for more new arrivals over the coming days.... 152 and 156 at the valeting plant.
