  1. Excellent video Robert...
  2. Lovely work ,very realistic looking wagons, well done Jason.
  3. I also attended this exhibition earlier today and was a little disappointed with the lack of any CIE/IR/IE/NIR modern image layouts, It was a nice venue with free parking within a short walk from the school, Great to meet some of the gentlemen from the IRRS who were there on a day trip from Dublin, I enjoyed Llangollen,a marvel in miniature-well done Gerry. There were a few layouts aimed mainly at the younger generation, and only two that I had any interest in, a large OO gauge in the main hall which had a coach fitted with a small CCTV camera that was connected to a monitor and an O gauge DCC controlled steam depot the shed being based on Portadown. I may give this one a miss next year, Next on the list is the annual pilgrimage to Blackrock and after that Warley
  4. Some "drone footage from Tara junction....
  5. All going well I intend to visit this exhibition, I missed out last year:trains:
  6. A welcome and useful addition to any modern image Irish layout, well done to the RPSI and Paddy Murphy, This is sure to be a winner and one that is guaranteed to sell out quickly
  7. Thank you jhb-Yes the wanderer is still looking out that window, but he is not seeing much as the coach is getting an exam done in one of the sheds.
  8. Thanks Jason-The timber wagons are made by Piko.
  9. No roxyguy-long gone..
  10. Yes I did-I still get nightmares about doing it.....!!!
  11. It departs from the station at 18:35,and operates to the loop where it is held until the 16:30 Heuston-Galway passes-it then departs at 18:50 for Athlone.
  12. Very nice and realistic-well done Raymond.
  13. The above photos show my final two out of twelve nearly completed M class buses on Tara junction, Thank you to Jim Poots for producing such a fine model in kit form.
  14. I actually worked that particular train from Castlerea to Ballina on that date, From my notes in my Guards journel, the Cravens coach is 1558 and it was to replace 1505 which had developed an electrical fault while working the Ballina branch train, Sorry for going off topic admins.

  16. The RPSI were busy this afternoon at Tara junction, Steam loco 4 needed to be turned on the turntable so the society used loco 175 to shunt the engine, Under the watchful eyes of their operations manager and Locomotive officer No4 was eased slowly onto the table and successfully turned.
  17. 56 070 has arrived at the factory sidings and will shunt the wagons in the morning to form the 0800 departure.
