  1. A quiet Sunday afternoon at the running shed at Tara junction afforded the opportunity to display the liveries that have been applied to the 071 class locomotives of CIE/IR/and IE over the past 40 years. From the left-083 in Black and silver,0117080 in the current grey livery,073 in the soon to be released retro IR livery and 071 in original CIE livery.

  11. It certainly was worth the 402 mile round trip yesterday to this excellent exhibition, Well done to the Lads at the Wexford club for organizing it, It was great to meet some old friends and also some new ones, I managed to pick up some IE Cravens coaches for 30 euro each, from the local Wexford club stand there, which was less than what some of the trade stands were looking for, Well worth a visit if you can make the trip.
  12. Raymond, I'm delighted to see that you converted to DCC you won't regret it, It will really suit your fantastic layout, I am five years into DCC and certainly wouldn't go back now. Best of luck with it.

  14. Well done gentlemen, a lot of hard work has gone into these wagons-and as I have said from the start I will be supporting you on this and other planned releases, Thank you for producing such a high standard Irish model.
  15. Continually raising the bar with your high standards of work, well done Kieran.
  16. Looks like 1960's Ireland with lines and stations being closed, Onwards and upwards as you have already shown elsewhere Kieran.
  17. Get well soon Seamus.
  18. Having just arrived back from my first visit to the U.S.A,where I travelled on the New York-Chicago Lake shore limited and Chicago-San Francisco California Zephyr, I had no choice but to commemorate this trip by purchasing this locomotive while in New York, as I travelled behind four of these impressive locomotives while traversing the country, I was also fortunate to spot 190 on shed in Chicago, What an impressive system and it has given me inspiration to maybe do a small diorama of a small loco depot, I hope to get a few Union Pacific C44 locos as I was most impressed by the size and sound of these machines,in particular around Roseville depot.
  19. A class108 passes on the mainline with a Leeds-Doncaster local service, while 20063 shunts the tanks into position for unloading, after uncoupling the loco will operate light engine to the MPD for servicing.
