  1. Just finished the cream and blue single door D class-another nice addition to the bus fleet Seen here on route 12 surrounded by M,E and Atlantean buses.
  2. A lucky catch earlier on the way home got Enterprise livery loco 233 work a Ballina-Claremorris empty flat wagons transfer consisting of 18 LX wagons The liner is seen here crossing the main N5 road near the former Ballyvary station
  3. Evening gents, Fresh from the Tara Jctn paint spray facility and seen here on a trial run we see 0117076... 0117076 arrives at Tara Jctn station,the driver having switched on the cab light in preparation of changing ends and working back to the MPD. Transfers are from the recently released Railtec range containing numbers for 076 and 080.
  4. 233 worked the IWT liner today,it's the last member of the operational fleet of 201s to have worked the liner-a nice birthday present..!!! 233 is seen just after arrival in Ballina freight yard with a fully loaded IWT liner.

  6. I like the plan Dave-A bit like North Esk with the mainline running alongside the container depot-(without the turntable)-another fine layout in the making.

  8. The double stacked containers remind me of Ballina freight yard when the gantry crane was there,nice work Vincent.
  9. At the other end of the layout-073 has stopped at Central station with the Mk2 a/b set as the 29000 speeds through, 210 has charge of the other Mk2a/b set as 'Arrow' liveried 2601+2602 await the road out of the depot to form another special.
  10. Christmas shopper specials on Tara Jctn today sees 073 haul a short rake of Mk2 air braked coaches as a relief to the regular services, 29001 passing through on a limited stop service, 2607+2608 stabled on the bay platform as a Mk3 set comes to a halt on platform 2

  13. Many thanks again Richie,I've made a start on bogie flat no'2 while also finishing off The first one, I added some container locating pins on the four corners aka spuds' in railway jargon which were from the Bachmann intermodal twin flat wagons-they fitted perfectly..
  14. Thanks lads, Another view from operations earlier sees 230 propel the up Enterprise passing 220 on an ammonia which has been looped and on the opposite line 209 heads north with a Mk3 set bound for Adelaide yard for scrapping.

Thanks rebelred-it arrived in the post at 11:30 yesterday and I worked on it for most of the evening' date=' It was a easy to build except for the fiddly spigot pin holders along the solebar which needed a lot of patience but otherwise I would highly recommend the kit, Thanks must go to Des for going to the trouble of providing the kit and to Glenderg for his excellent tutorial which was of great assistance. The 20' BELL refer containers on the wagon.

  17. 8209 in Ballina freight yard earlier this evening.
  18. 188 hauls failed 2601+2602 out of the Railcar siding over to the MPD for attention.
  19. Saturday mornings operation sees 215 work a down Mk4 set passing 077 on the IWT liner, Over on the up fast line,230 has charge of the Enterprise De Dietrich set, In the yard 188 is about to haul a failed 2600 Railcar to the MPD for attention and 7078 waits with the HOBS train for clearance to follow the Enterprise.

  21. It was my second visit and I was impressed yet again this year, Some excellent layouts and trade stands coupled with its central location-airport/hotel/rail station wise-roll on next year.
