Back in the early 1990s an auxiliary passenger train operated on Sundays only from Claremorris to Dublin Heuston station departing at 16:45-this was to relieve the 17:45 Westport -Heuston 9 piece Mk3 set It usually comprised of MK2 a/b stock or Mk3 hauled push pull stock, On this occasion we see locomotive 085 hauling the 16:45 Claremorris-Dublin Heuston 9 MK2 a/bs through Tara junction station-the interior lighting shown to good effect.

Having recently taken advantage of the flash sale of the IRM Mk2 a/b coaches we see the final coach 4112 arrive into the Lakeview freight yard on a low loader, The next selection of photos show the unloading and shunting process, as there is no EGV attached to the four coaches-they don’t have lights working-the last few photos see the final shunt movement taking place where the Shunter couples up the jumper cables and power is restored to the full set. locomotive 085 was used for the shunting movements.

https://www.dckits-devideos.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=68 I have purchased 141/181 sound chips and speakers from the above for the first run of MM 141/181-he did do sound chips for 201 class locomotives but unfortunately doesn’t post to ROI anymore due to brexit, He attends all the major UK model exhibitions where I have picked up sound chips previously.

A new used car showroom has opened on the east side of Tara junction-one of the first deliveries to the site is seen here negotiating traffic through the busy streets of Tara junction. -
Mk2a/b coach pack duly ordered - thanks IRM

Thats an unfortunate situation -an Arrow 2600 railcar would have been a better choice of unit- a rerun of the 001 class and a C 201 class would definitely sell well IMHO. Best of luck with the continued ICR project-and thanks for the update

If you are located in the Northwest-go to Modellers den shop in Enniskillian, it’s located on Darling street…they have a selection of appropriate train sets that could be adapted to suit your needs, I would go with OO gauge train sets
