  13. Waterford harbour has been fairly successful with the liners with berths ranging from 4.5m at the city quays, 9m at Belview and deeper still at DunmoreEast when using the pontoon . The highlight of last year was three liners berthed at the same time on Frank Cassin & the North Wharf. So theres hope for DL harbour yet !!!
  14. Bogie cements & fertiliser bogie wagons would be top of my want list
  15. Why? The Ryanair 737-200 never had winglets, they only appeared on the later models.

  19. The plan is too model it in its late noughties guise around the time of the reconstruction/reopening of the Midleton line. The station has gone through major changes over the years, the earliest pic i can find is from the 1880's and i only found out where the original signal cabin( pre 1923 )was located the other day!!!
  20. Thanks for the comments gents Started work on the other main building, work is a bit slow as i ve lost my photo file of the building but i ll be up in Cork over the weekend so i ll get plenty of replacement photos.
  21. Glounthaune mk 2, a few years back i measured up Glounthaune station building, added to the measurements i got the plans of the former station buildings out of the property section of the examiner from when the buildings were sold a few years back. After a lot of head scratching and over use of the calculator i figured out the various roof angles and more importantly the scale measurements . I constructed the building out of plasticard with wills tiled roof sheets, i ve now started with the detailing so hopefully i can get it complete in the next few weeks.
  22. Don t think.it was Blaine who made the comment!!!! The days of sacrificing major details are gone thankfully, for any model to succeedit has to be realistic and neither the cl 33 or a standard sf a class meet todays standards.
  23. No prob
  24. Always spelt ValenCia on the station nameboard right up to.closure. The layout is excellent and had a recent model rail article about it. The builder is building Courtmacsherry next
