  1. Click "Albums" tab above. There's quite a few "Q" shots as well! Here ...and here Deadly!
  2. Fantastic. Just what I need  The Martin Finney inside cranks that I have are a near-match in shape for these, and crank throw might be fairly close as well.

This is excellent. I think I can adapt the cranks and eccentrics from Martin Finney's T9 kit!
  4. Found 'em! Excellent run of photos. Think that pretty much confirms I can adapt one of Martin Finney's inside motion kits - the cranks and eccentrics appear similar in shape to those in the GW Pannier, and I could use some other bits from the LSWR T9.
  5. Michael O'leary would find some way of making you pay in advance first.
  6. The only place it could try now would be on the Victorian network, S.E. Australia. Don't know of any high-quality 5'3" lines anywhere else.
  7. That would take the wind out of Alan Doherty's sails / sales - he's had a "WT" at test etch stage for a while now.....
  8. Apparently you can convert the SSM "V" kit into a VS..... "Boyne": the one that got away....
  9. The last thousand that were built had a VW 1272cc engine in them. A four-stroke at last.
  10. ..and that was 90km/h, not mph. It was good for the ton, but you didn't want to try emergency braking at that speed. Wartburg was way ahead of its time in many respects, with several rally successes, but its main problem - particularly for export markets such as Britain - was that it was a two-stroke.
  11. Some of the videos were certainly watchable, but other parts were jarring: trains brought from warp speed to a standstill in the kind of braking distance that a supercar would be proud of, whilst the Faller car system, useful as it is, shows its limitations: abrupt stops and starts, and the sight of lorries/HGVs going round corners like sports cars. Instead, why not have a go at DC-Car? A very good advert for the DCC-controlled layouts, I thought. [video=youtube_share;Z77D5kzJCHw]
  12. Not much in the way of signalling, then!
  13. I think you can get etched brass sash windows and that type of thing as well.....
  14. UPDATE: Mr. McLachlan has replied. He's up to his eyes in Dundalk drawings!

    Gaa

I'm not entirely sure that Clare can sustain what has been a fantastic season for them in the hurling. It took years to get to this stage - can only hope all those following will be as dedicated and hungry to win. I'm in the wrong country for Croke :-(
  16. Build the track badly, but see if you can fit some form of suspension to your stock to cope with it.
  17. ...and you can build trackwork which doesn't have to be flat!
