just got word from BNM that some of the locomotives currently displayed at boora are to become part of a new display. also it seems that all track lifting has stopped. there was a crew working on it a month ago however they have stopped.

i was recently speaking to somebody who has been getting the train from Dublin to cork for over 20 years. i mentioned to them that it was a pity that cork signal box was demolished. they looked at me with a puzzled look and asked me what i was on about. somehow they had never noticed the signal box and did not know what it did. i have therefore decided to make a Youtube video about the old signal box. i was wondering if anybody had any old footage, photos or stories they wanted included in the video. thanks

i defnetly remember seeing somthing about an irish rail 071 rescueing a DD set with pasengers on board within the last year
