  1. Two. I'll take number two please.
  2. Holy schmoly Nelson. Well played on the award, looking forward to the extension. ...and my sympathies to your stone mason! R.

  4. That's the unedited version of the one I posted on the book of faces earlier. Edit:I did some digital snooping with Photoshop, and there is no colour depth in the logo at all. completely grey. It's possibly a mask of some type before the lime green went on.
  5. Eoin, i bought a heap of those ikea lights for task lighting. They're not led, and pretty crap for doing work, but i reckon they'd be spot on for a layout. Whats the dim from mounting point to finished layout level, and i'll do a mock up with them? Richie
  6. Oooh. You could cause a rip in the space time continuim doing that one! The length of the 111/071 livery against the stumpy hunslet might look odd, but hey, i've no doubt some suited consultant suggested it once at a meeting and presented a watercoloured sketch to match. Go for it!
  7. I know fictitious liveries are highly frowned upon in model form, but I just love that. By golly she's clean and shiny man.....
  8. Think i made the top one for Anthony a good while ago as a billboard with balsa backing. Love the bottom one though, i can see a seasonal theme already!
  9. Wouldn't really call it a livery, as much as a bit of red oxide/bauxite and plenty rust. One of the lads here posted these up a slap of months ago.
  10. Nice work sir! aside from the handy usage of photoshop... Fair play on the DART model though - the shiny sparkly pantograph made me giddy....
  11. http://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/no-nonsense-kits/products/etchings.html?limit=all They seem to be out of stock unfortunately on most stuff.
  12. You'd have to get the flouro red on the end doors, and end decals/running numbers too. Some of the limas have a wickedly fat white line and a yellow tone, but a few hours work and they look sound, so probably a fair price I reckon.
  13. Happy to reconnect given current threads about here! (Whisht they'll only want know more!)

  15. There was a substantial thread over on irishrailwaynews with such content, that someone had put an enormous amount of work into. Pretty much info on every freight wagon ever, provided you knew the wagon you were looking for. I believe the same chap is a member here, so may be able to help. Would hate to think it might go like our last "collaboration project"
  16. Ok, I can see them now. Flux capacitor wasn't plugged in. Very tidy work K. What's the plan with the windows? Brass overlays or leave them as is? R.
  17. Chequebook modelling at it's very finest. A fine example of what results when you design using rail design software first, instead of the pencil and paper.
  18. Lovely! Leave it like that and we're in bucket and spade territory An aul van selling HB ice-cream and you're done! Richie
  19. Was too busy chuckling away at HF's comment to care about the ginger sod. Think these were the shots Steve refers to. Very fine work too Leslie, really admirable wagon to tackle given the complexity. R
  20. Seconded in every aspect! Well said K.
  21. Stevie, Which braking system are you looking for? To suit which wagons?
  22. Just lovely work Popeye. What I find really interesting about your technique is how you've made the overscale coupling hook almost invisible. Just superb! R
  23. Who here could possibly do a review without their own work coming under the spotlight? Not a modeller anyway, so perhaps the ex-champion boxer/garda then!
