    SSM Sulzer 101

Looks excellent Des and I wish you every success with it. Rich,
  4. Thanks for that Eamonn. Rich,
  5. That cattle wagon looks nice Dave. Is it an original tooling or a repaint of an existing model. Rich,
  6. They look the business Noel. Rich,
  7. For Lima coaches I would go with the Keen Systems close coupling units. They pull apart on curves and close couple again on straight runs. Rich,
  8. Very region specific as well Mark. Rich,
  9. Amazing model and a good find Stephen. Rich,
  10. I had a good look at the 0 gauge 111 at the Wexford show and it is a beautiful model. I love the 141-181 class models as the prototypes were my favorite loco's. The models set a bench mark at the time for any 00 gauge diesel model that had been released by any manufacturer. I still think that it holds it's own even today. However if the 071-111 turns out like I expect it to then it just might eclipse the baby GM's. I can't wait to see a fully painted production model. Rich,
  11. Don't be too hard on her then Anto, agree about the coal it's the one area that let's down a lot of steam loco models. Rich,
  12. I only passed it a few weeks ago Richie, looks great. Rich,
  13. Yoy're flying Stephen. Is that a Bell container I see in pic 2. Rich,
  14. Seeing that she is in as preserved condition Anto I would leave her untouched. Rich,
  15. Fran there is a seriously big gap in the market for freight models since MIR ceased production. I am certain that any model that Dave would produce would be a quality piece of work, judging by what he has already produced. Rich,
  16. Dave I imagine you could utilize the chassis for the 4 wheel 20 foot wagons for cement, bagged cement, beet, ballast etc. A 22 foot 6 inch 12 foot wheel base wagon with outside w irons would be nice for 20 foot containers, Guiness kegs, weed spray train (older type) etc. A decent chassis for a 30t brake van would compliment the SSM kit. If they are easily adaptable for 21mm then all the better. As much as I hate to say it (because they replaced my beloved Cravens) a 2700 would be nice for my layout and the period I am modelling. Rich,
  17. Beautiful Dave, I hadn't seen the 2600 model in the Commuter Livery before. Rich,
  18. Do you know if 146 is going to stay in the IE livery Eamonn. Rich,
  19. You're a brave man soldering white metal to brass John, but you have done it beautifully. Rich,
  20. The man could sell sand to the Arab's Anto. Rich,
  21. I enjoyed seeing it again this year in Wexford, and the sound has got me thinking. Rich,
  22. The first week on the forum has emphatically proved that Tom. Everyone is happy and there's no dissent in the dressing room. People just want to come here to relax, talk trains, share ideas, and enjoy the banter. In the end it comes down to how a forum is run and this one will be run by looking after our members and promoting the hobby. Rich,
  23. Good man, let us know how you get on. Rich,
  24. Welcome on board Tom, Rich,
  25. I'll have to lock up me daughter if you're coming down ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL. Rich,
