  1. Like yourself richrua, I have a weakness for the Dutch vans,unfortunately I would not have the skills To build,scratch build or paint one. However if any of the irm team are watching what are the chances Of both versions being produced at some stage, seeing as most trains needed a Dutch van. Sorry to go off topic a small bit on you richrua.

Did the grey bubbles have logos on them, my reason being ,would the grey livery look better Heavily weathered, maybe the ivory and orange livery light to medium weathered so as the Coloured liveries stand out a bit more.just my opinion and trying not to over complicate A fantastic addition to our hobby. You are all doing a great job many thanks.
  3. This is another layout you just cannot wait to see the next updates, the class 70 & class 80 Are just outstanding, that livery really does stand out. Very nice. They have just also made My wish list.
  4. Fantastic scene as always, really enjoy this layout, I have taken a real liking to the Permanent way rolling stock.

  8. Thanks Eoin, that's some setup. So one last thing is my lead free solder no use to me for brass kits. It's the same old story should have listened in metalwork class at school many years ago. Thanks lads. John

  11. Hi all, Got a sudden rush of blood to the head and bought this soldering iron and stand and solder. Never soldered before so don't know what to do or expect. Any advice ? Did I get the right Iron and solder or do I need anything else. Thanks in advance, John.

Would anyone know were I could buy a rebuilt Dutch van, dc kits have none left, or has anyone got one they want to sell, If not what would be my options? ( I know run a different train). Kits would not be my thing so any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance, John.
