I'm using cobalt digital point motors. They include a switch terminal so you can add a push button and LEDs for an 'old fashioned' physical control panel.
Take the clear plastic rail joiner on the bottom left rail and move it up to the frog.
Then join the point up to your layout using regular metal joiners on all the other rails.
In your photo, you have what look like Hornby "DCC" clips inserted into the point. See the small thin metal 'wires'? You should be able to pop them out with the blade of a screwdriver, you should be ok then.
