The 'easiest' option is the pocket wagons, spray them grey and make them dirty and hey presto, you've a fairly good representation of an irish intermodal wagon that's readily available. Most of the model shops sell them 'irishsized' too

I'd say a 70-100cm radius curve would compliment the viaduct well? Would 3mm mdf be pliable enough?

I've a good few motors left to install and wire before the computer has anything to control But the idea is that routes and timetables can be set, the DMUs can be shuttled back and forth to the branches while I can play trains, shunting 'intercity' trains together, preparing freight, releasing engines in the terminus roads, etc It's amazing how simple driving a large layout can become when you have a computer figuring out all the routes! Have a lot of work to do before i get to that stage though! In other news, the postman dropped in a nice 3 foot tall backscene this morning...

Ahem. Not yet Though I've great plans to kick into it as soon as I get the overhead lighting finished! Plan for the screens is Amiens street on the top with the two branches on the lower screen.

Sounds promising so far guys...
