  6. They look surprisingly unlike card in the pockets! Lovely job!! Stunning rake!
  7. Also worth adding that while less detailed, the moving eyes are neat, and the Bachmann Thomas stuff is much better value for money too...
  8. I seem to recall discussion about how Hornby already had the 'franchise' for OO Thomas stuff, so Bachmann had to promise to be good and sell only to the yanks (despite making it all OO anyway )
  9. He does, and she does
  10. Gorgeous little things they are too 'Technically' HO - http://www.trainsetsonly.com/page/TSO/PROD/160-76042 But I've run them with Hornby OO thomas coaches and they aren't out of scale, so I reckon they just have a HO badge

They might look modern now, but in 20 years they'd be a stunning preserved rake... behind an 071 perhaps!
  12. Thanks lads - am loaded with inspiration! I reckon I'll track down one of those 23" high valley backscenes and speak with Dave about a lovely curved backboard to mount it on, then sweep hills around and above the viaduct sides. In the mean time, a bit of fun
  13. 500 notes! Ouch, I've three sets, paid no more than 140 for the most expensive!
  14. I've a Vitrains 37 chassis (the boys managed to drive it off the layout after a 'planned' derailment, so the body is no more ) Drop me a line, will add it into that box!
  15. I love the 'original' viking 'weapon' http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Ancient-Ireland-Viking-Weapon-Irish-Weaponry-Unusual-Old-Rare-Replica-/190684995563?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c65b61feb
  16. Not enough drool!
  17. Is that Irish?
  18. Good to see at least you're minimizing the number of concurrent projects! While making us all feel woefully inadequate and wondering how in gods name you find time in the day for that lot!! ps: love the lever frame!!!!
  19. Jaysus doesn't begin!! One man factory!!!
  20. Some info on models here: http://website.lineone.net/~sjohnson40/Loco%20Profiles/B121.html Tho a tad out of date
