  2. Looking great wiggy!! Are those big round ones the hornby silos?
  3. Check the electrical pickups to the wheels on the loco and check the decoder is seated fully?
  4. The ad is alittle unclear - does your asking price include the 150 and the dynamis?

  6. Sounds like a worthwhile job She's an absolute stunner and a credit to you !
  7. The height gauge is highly recommended - depending on the coupler used (and the nem socket) you may have to shim the kadee up or down to meet the height gauge bang on. Generally, as long as they are all set exactly the same, they work beautifully. I also use 3mm neodymium magnets between the rails for uncoupling, which also work great.
  8. Stunning work Noel - the 350 has me thinking - as you say, would make a decent 8300 with a bit of a bash at the front.. - does the cab front / face remove easily in the model? Hows the internal lighting?
  9. That 350 conversion is a cracker!! Did you remove the pantograph? Any photos of her?

  15. There is. It's called ForumRunner
  16. I'm wiring Amiens Street for digital control - (which doesn't mean you have to go DCC for the layout itself if you don't want). Simple, two wire bus for all motors, back to a Hornby Elite controller I had 'spare' into an oul PC, and running JMRI (though looking at options)
  17. Can't wait to see the new civil engineering masterpieces! Two words for the wiring Computer. Control
