    New IÉ logo...

Do they not realise the problems a logo change has for us modellers! I mean really!! No thought at all
  4. I really hope they don't put that on the locos
  5. Will have to Anthony You can't go wrong with Dave - full of ideas, genius problem solving and stunning, stunning work! I'm only sorry I built the terminus board myself before I cam across him!
  6. Absolutely fantastic!!! The opening door is a genius touch! Absolutely love it - your eye for detail - and the pace you're getting scenery done is staggering!!!
  7. lol - I'm not sure what number she is myself any more Blame Anthony I 'think' she's 189
  8. [video=youtube;-W8-YKc9auE] Thats the vid I made of the single row of 4 in action. I've been fitting double rows since, to widen the uncoupling area.
  9. Thanks lads, I'm humbled really as I realy don't consider myself a \modeller\ yet Cheers Thump - I've been using single and double rows of 4 3x3x3 cubes myself - good to know I'm on the right track I've found even a single row works very reliably, but the uncoupling 'window' is very short (which can be a good thing). For points that I can't easily see, I'll use double or triple row (for loco release locations especially).
  10. Just a reminder too, if you want to just browse the photos http://amiensstreet.com
  11. I have to admit I have 'collection' stuff and 'play' stuff More of the latter than the former though
  12. Tempting.... Could always start again in n
  13. Thanks guys! I've so much to do! The comments keep me going!!!
  14. Yes I've ten of them. You can see one in the previous photos that I was using for clearance testing... will have to get the rest out of their boxes
  15. I've been focusing on the mainline, so have 'skipped' the shed trackwork Once the mainline is down and powered, I'll be able to watch trains go by while I work on the yard and the two main branches!
  16. A couple of general 'update' photos taken today too
  17. There is a DCC decoder in the DVT, that gives you head/tail directional light, main headlight and cab light on three functions. The interior lighting is 'always on' with a flicker free / capacitor charging, meaning it stays lit for a few seconds even when unpowered. (all of that are 'options' form the lads)
  18. @heirflick - This is the 'non EGV' rake - though it looks like they'll all have to have one allright The next rake is the one with the EGV Here's a quick vid of a flyby (I only have about 15 feet of mainline jury-rigged!)
  19. The close coupling system, the lighting, the weathering, the finish, the detail, the dcc controlled DVT - an absolute classic! If ye lads havent ordered some of these bits off the lad, you'll regret it!
  20. All credit to David - the rake is a total beauty! This is my favourite so far: Have a short video uploading to the tube as I type...
  21. Some updates today The outer mainline loop is now a closed circle (all electrics to be done yet but droppers all done) These photos follow from the new crossover and branch junction (to Blackrock Road) heading up, around the loop back to the viaduct.
