  1. Give that a try see if it helps and I'll check on the backend.
  2. Ah you are correct, my notes remind me it was a Lima mkII FO
  3. It might be you are logging in at http://www.irishrailwaymodeller.com - and the album is pushing to the site default, which is irishrailwaymodeller.com ? vBulletin might be considering both hosts as different...
  4. You only should need to log in once for all site areas?
  5. Pretty sure silverfox do one but I can't see it on the site...
  6. I've a rake from airfix mk2d's but I assume any similar mk2 would get you started.
  7. Bachmann voyager stock can look similar with a nice lick of paint. That said the 'real thing' from D&M is about €130 a unit iirc which might not be too far off a repainted new coach...
  8. Absolutely the business!
  9. I use a simple led on the buffer in my programming siding. Buffer lit = main. Buffer unlit =programming.
  10. I designed the platforms at amiens to take a full scale enterprise rake but it means the stationsand throat are just over 15 feet long.
  11. And with the Chinese economy where it's at and heading the days of 150 euro for a decent model are fast steaming into the distance.
  12. It's fair to say the 121 and 001 are the 'most hotly anticipated' models, but primarily due to the amazing job Mr. Murphy has accomplished to date on everything else! He truly does spoil us, and 201 admirer or no, the best way to fund / encourage those models is to ensure the current releases shift!
  13. Just stunning! Can't wait to see that video!
  14. Am sure the shops have modest stock levels, pending sales
  15. Started a new thread for the new 201\s and copied posts {MOD}
  16. I wouldn't assume for a second the sound files and associated config are zero cost.
  17. Ten thousand Euro????
  18. Yep, they have all wheel pickups
  19. They are custom builds in each case (and a few more). Built by the master Martin down in Oz (tho he no longer builds commissions I'm afraid). In the case of the 4MT for example, its got 2 x 23mm speakers in the tender, fully sealed with composites, and runs from a Loksound 3.5 decoder with 12 functions. The loco and tender are reinforced to reduce vibration and full prototypical lights and firebox flicker added. (syncronized with the coal shoveling sounds) Speakers are in the tenders, and a two pin plug links tender with loco, some models have speakers in both the tenders and the loco itself, where space allowed Smoke is a Seuthe #22 generator, managed by a micro relay controller by one function on the decoder (reduces any risk of the smoke gen overheating / running dry and overloading the decoder In operations, the smoke gen needs a top up roughly every 10 minutes. In each case, the 'donor' was the current gen Bachmann or Hornby super detailed model. In the A4, there is a speaker both in the tender (a 40x20mm) and the loco directly over the cylinders (23mm). In all the locos lead has also been added to push the weight up by at least 100g.
  20. Or my personal Favourite
  21. Or a 9F [video=youtube;3lo-VZ-qZl0]
  22. Here is a video of my 4MT
  23. I've noticed that 141/181 stored on their side can sometimes seep a little oil. I tend to store mine upright now. You can just wipe away the oil.
  24. More info here: http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/showthread.php/84-New-spoils-in-portlaoise
  25. If models didn't sell out, there would be less incentive to do more runs, ironically, so the selling out of a model is a good thing, not the opposite. While that does sometimes mean the price of second hand can rise over time, particularly in the case of desirable, or rare or limited run models, such is the situation in all fields of collection / modelling / hobbies. Even a 'small' run of 504 locomotives, assuming all the tooling costs have already be absorbed (am sure some have not yet been) will cost north of 75,000 Euro by the time they land (if not more these days with the costs in china increasing). These days there are few that will spend that kind of cash on a 'speculative' re-run? As has been highlighted, the market is small, probably closer to 600-700 'buyers' of Irish stock these days, and even that small number likely represents a doubling in the last 5 years, primarily thanks to the work put in and excellent models produced by paddy Murphy, Leslie (Provincial Models), SSM, Glenderg, DRM Models, Irish Freight Models and many more! A run of 504 of any one model is 'about right' I would think for this market.
