Wow! Sounds like a nice tour actually!
  6. All those beautiful gms! Twenty years ago nearly ! Feels like yesterday! Love the 121 pp!
  7. Ssshhhh Sure sound chipped dcc locos are only about 50!euro! ( looks around nervously in case SWMBO is reading! )
  8. There were 37 of the class made. 141-177 inclusive. Must be a typo on the flyer.
  9. Seems ok for me? You might have the window already open just hidden? Check the "Windows" menu on your browser?
  10. WOW! Terrifying for the poor driver!
  11. The Hornby Select is a good entry level controller, Bachmann also have an 'EZ" dcc unit that I used previously for the kids (as it had ten buttons for loco addresses). It's definitely the way to go either way, and you can still run the DC locos (one at a time) on the DCC layout/
  12. Absolutely brilliant! Those wagons look the business as does 001!!
  13. Must dig out the two or three I have in the attic at that rate!!
  14. Love it! That wall looks great!

  16. Wow, 10-15k a year is about as much as the Fry used get iirc, and all the more amazing that it's two lads! I thought it was a 'man shed' type thing with lots of helping hands? Two hardly sounds enough to open the doors and operate the layout, let alone make progress on builds?
  17. Lovely set of pics Dave and congratulations to all in Boyle for getting the planning permission! Do they plan an Irish layout at all?
  18. Classy lady alright They had a very unique style all of their own...
