  1. If I may quote Thomas the Tank..."Shiny and Clean.....Shiny and Clean!!!"
  2. Dedication man, dedication.
  3. Oh that is far tooo close to the bone!
  4. Never even knew such a yoke exist=ed. Nice one.
  5. Nope, thinking more shading to emulate wear and tear, a little touch of verisimilitude.
  6. Garfield, I don't doubt it, but thinking of non IRM related yokes, H Vans, 7 plankers etc.
  7. Hmmmmmmm. sounds like I need to fill a gap here. Printing tonight then.
  8. just to add, the pin vice in Mayner's video is the best one to get as it has four separate chuck sizes to cater for 0.4mm right up to 1.5mm drills. Secondly, it has a swivel head that allows you to apply subtle and consistent pressure using the palm of your hand. I state this as I bought a more basic one to avoid having to swap and change when doing multiple drillings and it is an utter dog by comparison.
  9. Nice one Karl, must say it looks the job. the young fellah will love it and you've had the pleasure of building it yourself. Doesn't get any sweeter than that.
  10. The Cruiser does NOT come out well. Hardly a surprise though.
  11. But of course.
  12. Good man Wrenner, I see you have a new Avatar sorted out.
  13. They look great, and will no doubt be outstanding with a judicious touch of Richie's filthy stick.
  14. SSM have whitemetal taillamps, old and new style that can be installed with 0.8mm LEDs and 1.8k ohm resistors (included in the pack). A 2.2 µF capacitor in parallel with the Led will reduce flickering.
  15. Why is there a great big wine rack at the front of that loco??
  16. Nash's Red Lemonade Nash's Red Lemonade would be a local product and very popular. It was made in Newcastlewest and still produces Ballygowan and TK. The tobacco was varied, here's a great link. MickMcQuaid stands out for me though (hack, hack, cough, wheeze....) http://christianpipesmokers.net/viewtopic.php?t=41002
  17. An astonishing story. Well deserved and at long last.
  18. Dadoom'tish!
  19. Branagh decided to film with the last four 65mm cameras in the world. That's a sobering thought. Digital really has taken over. Computer Generated Imagery- done badly, it looks worse than a cartoon. Done well and it's jaw dropping. https://screenrant.com/worst-cgi-fails-big-budget-movies/
  20. Oi! Don't you know Ben's Boutique has gone very upmarket this last while. I'm sure Margaret's Paul Costelloe line will see you right .
  21. Those Dart castings look very well on it Eamonn. They beef it up nicely.
  22. Gents All in whitemetal. My k15 kits are supplied with gnr bogies
  23. Yes indeed, the irish "Commonwealth" is a much different creature than the UK version. I will be releasing this in the new year in a comprehensive mould set for a Laminate / Park Royal / 50's Bredin. Bogies Battery Box Buffers Gangway etc.
  24. Absolutely lovely and perfect in every way. Industrial Light & Magic pre-CGI would hire you on the spot. Love the weathering and precision of all the little details.
