  1. Wonder what the Maroon will pull given their conspicuous absence of that livery from the Mk2bs? Possibly test the orders for Maroon locomotives to gauge potential interest in that early livery. Nice to see these after the somewhat intense discussion surrounding the ICRs, (which I still want too) but I love these more for sure …. and since you guys like to produce what you can easily scan and measure, maybe someone tripped and scanned and adjacent loco while at Cultra? (save you guys heading across the county and all that) I’ll have a nice Class 20 chassis getting its original shell replaced very shortly too
  2. Easy to see a 'better' choice with the retrospectoscope but Im not sure that a rerun of A class would be as viable as your hink as least this soon. I, for one have multiples of most and would not be in the market for any more renumbers unless there was something new, and there was not that much that was not covered with the A class as far as I can see.I do like the Arrows, though I would prefer to see an earlier era railcar, which in light of this update seems unlikely, unless the internal working electronic etc made that viable. So oddly, I had intended to purchase several of the then including the RTE Music week sound fitted, which is alluring for an sentimental ex-pat. Funds were then diverted elsewhere, then they were 'sold out', so least I have the option to purchase one (or two ) again now.
  3. Well, it’s Friday again in that time zone. As long as they turn up complete and intact it’s all good, but they’re making me a bit nervous
  4. May are happy with the 2ft rule until something better comes along
  5. Yeah, having an effing real J-O-B is such a drag. Imagine not being able to sit online like that
  6. And.... same. I'm not in a great rush but when you don't know when they'll ship or guesstimate on intl. ship times it can be tricky to receive your parcel or not have it melt after delivery at the front door. Once, my wife has ordered some frozen goods which were delayed by a hurricane and arrived when we were out of town. Some models arrived at the same time and our kindly neighbor made sure they both made it to the freezer section in the garage Surprised that 'Steve'@DJ Dangerous hasn't take you up on phraseology, he's slacking
  7. He does like that hat
  8. I believe that the issue with the Irish coaches was systemic rather than sporadic based on the many examples I purchased myself. IRM would know how many bogies would need replacement for every customer based on their own order books. I presumed that they would eventually issue replacements rather than everyone having to make warranty requests which is a very inefficient process even for them. I have none of the UK coaches in question but surprised Accurascale didn’t already clarify your question. Again they should be able to issue the correct bogies in due course I would say.
  9. and they're all gone
  10. Free for some … been discussed previously. But I do have some points. How do I access their value at checkout? IRM ordering process for ex-EU is much simpler than having to email Marks to refund the VAT which should not have been charged to begin with
  11. Don’t seem to be many pictures of the grain loading process unlike the beet haulage
  12. I thought the was gonna be an update around the time of the Wexford show and thought I had missed out on that. Thanks for info
  13. Any update on these?
  14. FREe MOney, you use it for new IRM models!
  15. Is the IRM product being shipped even in possession of a single courier company from pickup to delivery? This seems possible only if they operate their own road vehicles and planes. Are the products handled by the courier solely when loading and unloading at airports/containerized and secured prior to handling by a third party? and what is the situation at customs?
  16. Arse! Previously, we had a countdown to a countdown! Which one is this? And where is the countdown , not visible on the site? Arse…, Feck! …., Fran is coming again
  17. Ok, figured out you guys all left early for the Wexford Show. Patrick helped me get it all sorted and paid
  18. OMG! I knew someone would recreate this in model form one day @derek near the end of their lives some of the GSWR (I think) 6wheelers were used to transport turf after the roofs were removed . This may have been during the Great Emergency @jhb171achill
  19. I have an issue with a method of payment but have ben unable to contact IRM by Live Chat or telephone. What going on ? @BosKonay
  20. Wait until Jan 2025 to see things really go down the tubes
  21. I think you’re breaking your own rules here, with In Stock and PreOrder items, demonstrating our problem in essence, I suppose. Don’t think you’d have to be concerned about shipping at that zip code though
  22. I have to agree with this assessment. Effectively the more we order the more we’re charged as I understand @BosKonay ‘s comment on dynamic charging. Within the EU reverse dynamic charging exists (the more that’s ordered the less is paid including free). I ordered a ton of stuff from Hatton's based on their trunk service. I’m don’t think anyone is asking IRM to house the stock indefinitely, we do want to see our models but some accommodation on combining adjacent deliveries would be extremely helpful. Guess where those additional postal savings are gonna be ‘reinvested’?
  23. I haven’t seen these yet. What errors did you spot?
  24. That’s kinda odd on 547. I can see how it rides higher off the bogie. Is there an extra shim or is it a difference in the coach floor? It one end of the coach or both? What bogies does your 547 have on it ?
