    nice one fran but as they are plug and play, there has to be a mother board fitted inside, this is the problem. there is a croud in australia that specialise in fitting smoke units to small locos, but the name escapes me.

    must investigate these smoke units further, only problem is that there ios so little room in any of my steamers. although i have seen a jinty with smoke and a lighting firebox - pure mule!

    broithe, have you ever in your travels in the UK been in a large diesel depot when several locos were being started for their days work? can only imagine the fumes and smoke were deadly! if this clip is anything to go by...and theres only one here!
