  6. Just found a pic of this Part of Oxfords 2013 releases.
  7. Lovely another two to add to my list of Garda vans and C D Dennis Thanks lads. Just having a look on hattons now, anyone see the Scania Irizar PB Eireann listed ? No pic anyone know what it is ? I assume its a bus. Edit : I've just found a pic, its a eurolines/bus eireann. Also the Aer Lingus van looks like a quick code 3 bash, maybe its just like the real thing but looks a bit boring. Just posted a pic of the bus in the Bus thread.
  8. Ad should read.... " One previous owner "
  9. Aer Lingus Trains ? Can't see them taking off to be honest....
  10. Kevin the van and riot police are definately going to feature in " Grange Castle " although i'm going to try and paint my figures to a more Garda Public Order unit colour, not really essential i know but i just want to give them an " Irish " look. Plan is to have a lowlife filled housing estate with a burned out car or two and these lads and a couple of vans there to dish out a few slaps
  11. Hi Dave, parcel motel by Nightline for me is great for ordering from the UK. Its 3.50 euro charge for a stay which is up to 2 nights. But the good bit is they have an address in the north were you can direct your parcel if the postage is cheaper it is then forwarded to your chosen motel. When you set up your account you pick your nearest collection point ( mostly maxol garages i believe ) and your given an id number you use this number and your name and the parcel motel centre address as your address on your orders. I get a lot of stuff off ebay and a few times its been free uk postage but massive international postage so i got them sent to parcel motel in the north who then fowarded it down to my local collection point for 3.50. Points are 24 hour so for me its grand. I've made it sound complicated but its really straight forward. jonny

  19. Hi kevrail, Thanks for the comments. I'm sure the decals are easily done but i lack the skill and ability to do them myself but it is something that i am pursuing, the ability to create my own decals would just be heaven ! Some of my other vehicles can be found here http://www.irishrailwaymodelling.com/showthread.php/492-Grange-Castle-s-Vehicles and here http://www.irishrailwaymodelling.com/showthread.php/490-Grange-Castle-s-Buses Sorry no pics on layout as it hasn't been built yet hopefully 2013 will bring the layout to life!
  20. Sorry to hear of your loss Anthony.
  21. Stunning !
  22. Have to agree with the lads great work ! Wish i had the skill !
  23. Done Great to have a comp on the forum.
  24. Hi Shinkansen, Thanks yeah modern Irish vehicles are VERY hard to find in fact almost impossible, the ones i have are nearly all one offs that i have photographed and found people to do them for me. The Guinness van didnt actually turn out the way i wanted but I think it will pass the test ! The Tesco truck i just happened to find on ebay and i picked it up for next to nothing. I found a guy in the UK ( blackpool ) and he did the Garda, DFB Ambulance and Guinness for me but unfortunately I've lost touch with him over the last year or so:(( However I found two more lads willing to do Irish stuff for me, one doing van transfers and one scratching building trucks for me. Currently on order is 3 different Stobart vehicles, 2 South Dublin County Council Trucks ( 1 Flatbed 1 Dumper with Hiab grab arm ) and a Guinness dray. Also a DFB fire engine based on Tallaght station's pump. For me the Vehicles / Buildings are as important ( if not more so ) than the train rolling stock. I want everything to look like it fits together. Heres the Guinness dray ( Not quite finished) And heres the real thing
