Westcorkrailway Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 I’ve been looking for a copy of this book as obviously it seems like a useful tool for modelling purposes particularly West Cork. I purchased the GSWR one on accident after being told they were “the same book but expanded”. Obviously this isn’t the case. Just in case anyone has any surplus to requirements thanks Quote

Broithe Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 I've had a few things off Nick Tozer over the years and found him to be reasonable. http://www.railwaybook.com/ I might be worth asking him to keep an eye out, he does seem to get a good bit of Irish stuff. 1 Quote

The Editor Alan O'Rourke (via the original author Michael McMahon) has issued in recent editions of New Irish Lines pages and pages of additional drawings that did not make it into the book for reasons of space. jhb171achill Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Locomotives of the GSR (McMahon / Clements) This publication is not known as "The Bible" for nothing. The amount of research that I know went into it is quite staggering and it is an absolute must - no matter what the cost - for any student of locomotives in Ireland. 1 1 Quote
