I’ve been looking for a copy of this book as obviously it seems like a useful tool for modelling purposes particularly West Cork. I purchased the GSWR one on accident after being told they were “the same book but expanded”. Obviously this isn’t the case. Just in case anyone has any surplus to requirements thanks

Horsetan , Robert Humm is quite local to me, I can assure you nothing has changed in the charging department!

I had to sit down for a moment when I saw what he wanted for a copy of the first MRJ Compendium.

Ask the seller ? I have often had such enquiries when selling on EBay and will give a simple answer if asked nicely.

That’s good news for me if anything! I have heard a few good things about this book, meant to buy it ages ago…must be some content in it

I trust you are also a subscriber to New Irish Lines. The Editor Alan O'Rourke (via the original author Michael McMahon) has issued in recent editions of New Irish Lines pages and pages of additional drawings that did not make it into the book for reasons of space. LM

Locomotives of the GSR (McMahon / Clements)

This publication is not known as "The Bible" for nothing.

The amount of research that I know went into it is quite staggering and it is an absolute must - no matter what the cost - for any student of locomotives in Ireland.
