IrishTrainScenes
The train is approaching 30 minutes delayed… Do not be surprised if it is replaced by a unit. Even if it is, the 2050 xDublin can only be an Irish Rail set to Drogheda as the 2005 xBelfast will most likely be used to form it Drogheda - Belfast. This could mean a railcar on the 0735 x Dublin and 1035 x Belfast tomorrow.

The Enterprise service has been remarkably reliable this year so far. More issues with signal failures, trespassing etc than the actual train itself. A point often overlooked is the coaching stock is now 27 years old and locomotives 29 years old. At this stage the much glorified Irish Rail Mk3s were being recycled to bean tins and the 071’s gone from front line passenger duties. Northern Ireland Railways 80 Class were on their knees by this stage. Meanwhile the 201’s and the DD’s keep pounding away with up over 700 miles a day required for one turn. Things could be a lot worse. Edited March 19 by NIRCLASS80
