If ever the 29ks were given a nickname,maybe other than 'cheap as fuck' I think donkeys or mules would be apt Workhorses of the railway, do everything and anything. Not at all 'glamorous' like the Mark 4s, DDs or ICRs, but usually show up when one of the latter two fails. And of course they roar like donkeys! A bit smelly too, just to add. Update: 14:05 Belfast to Connolly will now terminate in Dundalk due to a mechanical issue on the train. Update: 14:05 Belfast to Connolly has terminated in Dundalk due to a mechanical issue. A replacement train is en route from Drogheda to Dundalk and is expected to arrive in Dundalk at approximately 16:45 hrs. Update to follow. That must mean a 29K on the 1650 from Connolly but it doesn't report it anywhere atm Quote
