modelshopbelfast.com Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 As you know modelshopbelfast.com works closely with the other main Irish retailers to produce models suited to railway modellers of the Irish scene. Here are two proposed building for future release. This post is purely to gauge interest. These would be part of Bachmanns excellent scenecraft range. Prices are yet to be confirmed but it's expected both buildings would be in the region of £25-£30 each. If these are models you think would be of interest to you please let us know. We are not asking for a commitment to purchase at this stage just gauging interest in a similar way to the previous IE set and Irish Buildings
Kirley Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I would have an interest if the models would be available this year.
heirflick Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Gareth, beautiful buildings ..espically carlow - definately interested! would love sometime to get portlaoise/ kildare station buildings.....possible?
Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Love the house/pub/shop can that sign be removed to make it a house?
iarnrod Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Marks Models are saying that these buildings are either half relief or three quarters relief buildings. Is this correct? Would be interested if full relief buildings only. Carlow station looks the dogs fangly bits if it's going to be produced in full relief.
burnthebox Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Definitely would be very interested in those, and it's a " MURPHY'S PUB "
The Train Man Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 As Gareth stated in the first post, the main Irish Retailers are always striving to bring Irish themed product to the marketplace. With this in mind are there any other buildings you would like to see for 2014??? We need your feedback!!!! Please contact: info@modelshopbelfast.com info@themodelshop.ie info@marksmodels.com Just to clarify the proposed buildings, Carlow Station, and the as yet unnamed pub will be full relief buildings, as confirmed by Bachmann this morning.
The Train Man Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Low relief was an option being explored with Bachmann up until yesterday. Confirmation of full relief was communicated by Bachmann this morning. Marks Models are saying that these buildings are either half relief or three quarters relief buildings. Is this correct? Would be interested if full relief buildings only. Carlow station looks the dogs fangly bits if it's going to be produced in full relief.
BosKonay Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Any chance of some nice modern image stuff ? Traincare depot maybe :)
Blu Bianco Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Very much interested in both. Bachmann's Scenecraft range is excellent. Its always great to see more Irish buildings becoming available and Carlow Station, in particular, is very impressive.
Grange Castle Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Any chance of some nice modern image stuff ? Traincare depot maybe :) +1 on this I'd love too see modern image stuff Not saying there's anything wrong with the buildings above, infact I quite like them and I'll probably pick them up.
IrishModelRail Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I'd certainly get the pub and the station looks great too:D
201bhoy Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I'd agree with Boskonay on the modern image stuff, maybe like Drogheda or Laois!
Train model Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I love the pub but I also love my station

modelshopbelfast.com Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Got a good look at the preproduction samples today, really pleased with how they've turned out. There's a few pics up on our Facebook site if you want to take a look. http://www.facebook.com/modelshopbelfast The samples are currently on their way to Mark and Seamus. Release date for both buildings is scheduled for Feb/March.
