Evening Gents,

I've just been going through some of my storage boxes while giving them a little bit of a tidy. Picking up 1:76 scale cars, vans and trucks is also another interest of mine, especially trucks. Here's a few that I've dug out of the boxes.

Probably my favourite. The DAF 2800

And something a little more modern

Dug out a few more bits and pieces to add to the list. As before, all 1:76 scale.

Escort XR3i, Capri MK1 and Capri MK111

And a little more modern. The Galaxy.

Love this. Looks even better when carrying a container.

There's a other side!. Lovely models. For older cars paint different parts like a door or a windmirror in different colors to show that the person who owns the veichle does not bother in reapainting them. Plus it make a more realistic seen.

True if you're modeling  a more recent era but they were the brand spanking new stuff in their own time. For me, it's hard to know what exactly was prevalent on Irish roads further back in time

Finished this makeover on one of my Ford Cargos recently.

I could be wrong, but I don't recall seeing box rigid's carrying the Road Liner branding back in the day, so there's a little artistic license at play here on my part.

That looks incredible. Must be massive!

Yep, she's a large unit, Dave. My Dad is big into this scale. He recently picked up a skeletal trailer and 40' Hamburg Sud container for it. The detail on the container alone, is out of this world.

I can't even begin to imagine the scaled difference sitting beside a 1:76 one.

Beautiful, where did you pick them up?

Not sure. As I said, my Dad picked them up recently and gave them to me.

I think he said he bought them from a chap selling them through one of the modelling groups on Facebook.

Michael Brady is the guys name.. Think he lists his stuff on eBay also… Nice models if a bit out of my price range, those vans were €25 each but you can see the time and skill that goes into them in the results

Absolutely savage!

Still struggling to imagine the size. Have one or two 1:18 cars and they are huge, yet would be dwarfed by that Volvo.

All you need is a trailer from Road Kings and you're sorted.

Might highjack his thread for some of my own 1:18 stuff if he doesn't get his act together.

Ok, Dave. Just for you, and to stop you hijacking my thread.

Let's just "pretend" I didn't send you a photo of this about a month ago 😄

1:18 scale DAF 3300 Space Cab.
