JasonB Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Evening Gents, I've just been going through some of my storage boxes while giving them a little bit of a tidy. Picking up 1:76 scale cars, vans and trucks is also another interest of mine, especially trucks. Here's a few that I've dug out of the boxes. Probably my favourite. The DAF 2800 And something a little more modern 9
JasonB Posted August 24, 2019 Author Posted August 24, 2019 (edited) Dug out some more vans. This time around, Eircom and Network Rail. Edited August 24, 2019 by JasonB 6
hydey Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 hi just wondering would u be up to selling any of the models please
JasonB Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 Dug out a few more bits and pieces to add to the list. As before, all 1:76 scale. Escort XR3i, Capri MK1 and Capri MK111 Sierra Sapphire And a little more modern. The Galaxy. Love this. Looks even better when carrying a container. 8
Midland Man Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 There's a other side!. Lovely models. For older cars paint different parts like a door or a windmirror in different colors to show that the person who owns the veichle does not bother in reapainting them. Plus it make a more realistic seen.

For me, it's hard to know what exactly was prevalent on Irish roads further back in time
JasonB Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 Finished this makeover on one of my Ford Cargos recently. I could be wrong, but I don't recall seeing box rigid's carrying the Road Liner branding back in the day, so there's a little artistic license at play here on my part. 10 2
Jaz avalley Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 (edited) Is there a thread for weathering vehicles? If not can I pop some here. Edited January 18, 2022 by Jaz avalley Typo
JasonB Posted December 31, 2022 Author Posted December 31, 2022 Evening guys, Not railway related, more for the few on here that are into their trucks. 1:18 scale DAF 3600 Space Cab. 5 1

My Dad is big into this scale. He recently picked up a skeletal trailer and 40' Hamburg Sud container for it. The detail on the container alone, is out of this world. 1

I can't even begin to imagine the scaled difference sitting beside a 1:76 one.
DJ Dangerous Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Outstanding! Is that the Corgi 1:43 Transit?

As I said, my Dad picked them up recently and gave them to me. I think he said he bought them from a chap selling them through one of the modelling groups on Facebook. 1
JasonB Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 Picked this pair up recently. Really like these. 7

Think he lists his stuff on eBay also… Nice models if a bit out of my price range, those vans were €25 each but you can see the time and skill that goes into them in the results Edited March 23, 2023 by MOGUL 1 1

DJ Dangerous Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Absolutely savage! Still struggling to imagine the size. Have one or two 1:18 cars and they are huge, yet would be dwarfed by that Volvo. All you need is a trailer from Road Kings and you're sorted. Edited July 14, 2023 by DJ Dangerous Added Photo 2
DJ Dangerous Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Aul' @JasonB is very quiet... Wonder if he has any new 1:18 monsters to share. Might highjack his thread for some of my own 1:18 stuff if he doesn't get his act together. 3

Ok, Dave. Just for you, and to stop you hijacking my thread. Let's just "pretend" I didn't send you a photo of this about a month ago 1:18 scale DAF 3300 Space Cab. 1 1
