  9. The P2 is quite Impressive, got one for me Dad, Breakfast sound as well, There was no vegetarian option for him!! Great Value for sound but I think there not as realistic sounding as the dedicated decoders. The chuff sound did not really match the Speed but I may take a look at the CV Values and adjust something there when I get time. The Whistles and the Rest were spot on except for the Station masters Whistle which sounded like he had swallowed it!
  10. Hi Lads, A Chap in Dublin has been onto me and has just started a DCC set up but is having a few issues. He is located in Dublin 12. Would there be anyone that could call out to him in the new year to take a gander and walk him though DCC operation. I have gone over stuff on the phone and he has the basics. He is operating a Hornby DCC Select, Has Hornby Set track and some point problems, there may be some Chipping of locos as well. I have met the chap as he called down to me from Dublin to Stick in some sound decoders and give him a operating session with the Select and he is an nice amicable chap. If anyone is interested please PM me and I will provide you with a number,
  11. Sterling prices with crazy High Exchange rate form Chris Dyer, I would doubt it. 120 for a Chipped 141 is pretty good.
  12. No downstairs Jacks..thats me out!! Fair play BTB..
  13. You dont live in the country show at the .40sec mark for sure.
  14. finished the ol Flats, Test run as well and happy with em!! Found some Resin ones in the loft earlier so might make a go of those for comparison! The ol MIR Decals did their usual trick and disappeared into the Either when I put them into tepid water, It was like dealing with some 1000 year old Parchment, All the numbers just Crumbled up, Nearly took me an hour to put 12 decals one!!
  15. Nothing wrong with Noels interpretation of the MRSI title. Maybe the MRSI need a Change of Name then to imply that it is not an All Ireland Association if its stuck on the Northside.. MRSNSOD sounds great...Good to see you in form Ed. Noel is rattling you bigo. Go Noel
  16. Saw this at the Show in Dublin, Cracking stuff and the Dart Amazing...
  17. Just trying to get these done for the IRRS show happening in Cork Monday night in the Metropole Hotel. These are MIR white metal Flats , Not a clinical as SSM effort for sure. Weighty though!! Every thing soldered on this bar the brass bearings for the wheel axles which were super glued on. Primer is on now so coupling hooks got on tonight if I don't fall asleep after marching around town today with the other 10k of people. Also a repaint into the Grey livery on one of the MM models 071s..number 078.
