  1. Been watching this 171 the past week or so. Looks like a junker, parts donor or a restoration project. 5 bids so far, €200 plus shipping. https://www.ebay.es/itm/266256841867
  2. Yeah, I doubt that when 071's are going for €500 or €600 each!
  3. Where have all of the Kingsbridge layout photos gone? There were some savage photos, and some pretty recent posts, I thought?
  4. If Jeremy is struggling to sell it, at that price, maybe I dodged a bullet!
  5. The rusted rails are outstanding!!! How do you do that and still have them power the locos?
  6. Still showing as for sale at the moment. https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/murphy-model-class-141/30269541 That Seon Ruiz chap puts in a massive amount of offers. Pretty sure I've bought one or two things where he has offered and then contacted the sellers in private to withdraw his offer.
  7. Gluing a Samsung Galaxy SmartTag or an Apple AirTag inside the body would be an ideal solution for recovering anything stolen.
  8. How close were the CIE D Class and the BR 08 Class? Aside from the overall shape, almost everything on the body looks different to me.
  9. Try asking @murphaph, @Dempsey, @Noel , @JasonB, @irishthump , @Georgeconna or any of the members posting their work in the "Workbench" area. There are lots more, I've only listed a handful.
  10. Poor old girl. Hopefully somebody obtains a plethora of photos before she dies, so that IRM can commission a special run of ex-Dublin buses for the UK market.
  11. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not involved with an RH!
  12. Can one assume that the bus in question is a restored / preserved KD / KC / Atlantean / Olympian?
  13. He's a bit of an Evan Kelly, so you either sold it for less than that, or sold it for more than that and now something inside is missing... Sawdust on the cogs or something.
  14. €150 is not a bad price for a 141 given the current market. https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/murphy-model-class-141/30269541
  15. I suspect the Irish connection is even more vague, like, "I'm @BosKonay and I love trolling you all. Trolls are green so there's an Irish connection" ...
  16. Another one or two photos of the HUO's. These are something else.
  17. Sounds like they're the same externally, so.
  18. Thank you. Now I see it on the underside, there is one pipe at one end, and a little hole where this second pipe should be, then a valve thing at the other end, and a hole where there should probably be a second valve. Absolutely incredible attention to detail!!!
  19. What's the difference between a Mk2/2A Second Open and a Mk2/2A Tourist Second Open, when talking about donor coaches? Are there external differences or only internal differences?
  20. Rails of Sheffield have just announced a new run of Dapol's Class 68... Looks like there are one or two that would be ideal for hauling the Accurascale Mk5 TransPennine Express coaches. https://railsofsheffield.com/collections/new-dapol-oo-gauge-class-68
  21. Sounds lovely! Any plans or drafts or anything?
  22. Duuuuun dun. Dun dun, dun dun, dun dun, dun dun! It's getting closer!
  23. I wonder if @Sean has seen this thread. The plans, size and general discussion remind me of one of his layouts. He may have some advice on how moving from plan to reality worked out in his case.
  24. Although I disagree with your use of the term "proper loco", I agree with your sentiment and I'd rather a mainline loco than a yard-only loco. Maybe if we both shave our heads, or shave each others' heads, IRM will run a mainline BO-BO for us.
  25. IRM: "Always finding new ways to make you poor"
