  1. That myth has popped up several times but about different makes Some of the Spot On models were used in land fill for some new factory being built in Belfast Also Wrenn box's that were printed in Belfast were also buried in landfill up north Anyone have any other stories?
  2. There is a big interest in Jouef (HDI) in France Most of the stuff I see on eBay seems to end up there I must have a trawl through my stuff and see if there are any spare pieces floating about I have other outline HDI stuff as well Anything that said Made in Ireland was always picked up

  4. Back on track girls Picked these up last night Nothing very exciting I can hear you say But it puts a clear definition on the different coaches The pic shows 2 x Made in Ireland box's Both have the thinner striped coach in them Also Jouef's penchant for not having a plastic face on their box's but instead wrapping them in clingfilm I have placed one of the thicker striped coaches for comparison As a matter of interest are there any other collectors out there or am I the only sad bastard? PM me if you want to remain anonymous

  18. At 5.12 on the video there is a pal of mine called Barry Fentiman, a serious WRENN colector He told me he almost hit James May when he reached for the W2408 Gold Plated 0-6-0 Tank They were a non powered loco issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hornby Dublo and only 140 were made making it the second lowest production run of any of the Limited Edition locos.
